But what Roosevelt set up would have led to the same place regardless, hyper concentrated power structures centered in powerful and untouchable centralized bureaucracies with greatly undermined and hollowed out local political parties whose total loss of power and autonomy were destined squelch out their role in generating vibrant democratic communities. And combined with all that, his *form* of internationalism would one way or another lead to imperialism.

I ran for parliament 30 years ago unsuccessfully, but it was a great experience and honor to do so. I am interested in supporting younger progressives who run as independents. I have no party affiliations now as reform has to come from outside the present broken system.

If you write public speaking comes that much easier and is a skill learned with practice.

So am I, I thought you were much younger, so we should both look for younger progressives as I am thinking of looking for some one to run in my community. Who is your MP?

Richard Cannings. He's a climate scientist and is with the NDP. He's always on the right side of issues I'm considered about.
