For people who knew the reputation of Cheney, Rumsfeld and the other neocons in the Bush administration, this was not surprising. George Bush Sr. had referred to the neocons— especially Cheney Rumsfeld, Perle, and Wolfowitz— as the “crazies in the basement”. This term stuck Former CIA briefer Ray McGovern used the term with approval and Colin Powell, during a phone conversation with the British foreign secretary(Jack Straw) referred to these neocons as the “fucking crazies.”— Page 90, from Griffin’s book

In this video from 2019 Cheney makes a ghoulish appearance, once again speaking for America at a major world event. He and Li Zhaoxing were invited as panelists to speak to how the US and China can reconcile their differences.
Cheney’s statement was a read passage written by his one of his former policy advisors. It is very alarming that Cheney read out the same old drivel that America is the center of the universe and all must toady to its wishes. It is little wonder Li Zhaoxing reacted with such candid indignation. He speaks for the the world’s oldest civilization with four times the population of the USA, yet he is expected to silently condone the lies Cheney tells and others like him tell over and over.
What this video reveals is the US foreign policy is stuck in a rut a mile wide and a mile deep which becomes a mass grave for America’s political integrity. Since Cheney’s time, and before, America is stuck telling the lies of the empire and sacrificing the Republic as the lamb for slaughter.
This shows that America is unable to renew its leadership as the administration is a Cheney nesting doll spouting the same old insane despotism— the “crazies in the basement are going full cycle at unconscionable costs.
The audience was atwitter at the thorough dressing down, smiling and clapping. Li Zhaoxing was the “candid” father scolding the delinquent son. {paraphrased below by the author}.
He told Cheney in China people come first.
He said the world must have harmony without uniformity.
There no is place for endless rhetoric when substantial change is essential.
That China has never been a superpower, never wants to be, and will not take orders from a superpower.
Peaceful co-existence for the world is essential.
History is the best teacher
America has forgotten its own History.
This video is captioned on You Tube as being “Hilarious” but it is also a critically important message to all the political zombies of the west who have sold their souls to endless war, violence and moral pestilence. They are the vindictive losers willing to destroy all if they can’t have their way. Their brinkmanship has gone berserk.
Cheney has been out of office for over twenty years and the Biden administration is still spouting the Cheney dogma.
The morons of Washington fail to realize that in trying to destroy China they destroy themselves.
For too long they have had immunity from the consequences of their war crimes and atrocities. That immunity is long gone. The collapsing empire is suffering acute Blowback and the costs and consequences to the USA and the world are devastating.
The American empire is collapsing for many of the same reasons the USSR did, and it did so peacefully. Now almost fifty years later the remaindered Russia has recovered into being a prosperous national state. Similarly China has performed its “economic miracle.” These countries are determined to maintain their hard won peace and prosperity and refuse to capitulate to the barbarian war mongers of the west.
