Some time ago news out of israel was stating, that some government official (rank?) had stated that "dead children can't grow up to become terrorists". And more recently a Knesset member stated that all children older than 4 years should be left to starve. It boggles my mind...this coming from supposedly an educated people.

Being civilized is a very thin veneer too easily corroded by hate, racism power and money.

Ashkenazi Jews have always had their noses up in the air, believing to be better than others. Even the European Jew looks down on the Arab Jew - this observation coming from an Iraqi Jew who grew up in israel and now resides in the UK.

Great essay, but I do question your identifying the British Empire with the horrible American one. Britain has become the lap dog of the U.S.; somewhat by design, I think. FDR’s “war aim” was the destruction of the Empire and snatching up pieces on the cheap. I cannot see the British Empire having the same evil, pernicious impact on humanity as the Yankee one.

But a small question about a great essay. Thank you.

I agree that the American empire is the worst ever, but it was modeled after the British empire and its history especially in India is deeply lamentable. George Orwell's early experience as a British colonial policeman in Burma was foundational to his later writings.

You may also note that London and Washington work hand in hand on the empire's mischief . They are key leaders in the Anglo-American racist imperialist agenda that is the point of origin for world conflict today. They are holding the world hostage to their delusional ambition of complete global dominance.

It is a great historical irony that all of the European former imperialists are now vassals to the American empire and are being cannibalized by it, just as the American empire is cannibalizing its own homeland.

Yes, and I’m horrified by London’s subservience to the Beast.
