We are all children of war
Western governments are looting their own societies to wage war on others. The very zenith of moral depravity.
Excuse me while I cast everybody including myself as “children of war”. I can do so as my first memory of war was to listen to the news reports on the Korean War of the early fifties when I was in primary school. Warfare has been perpetual since that time and I have been a diligent spectator ever since.
I write a blog for many reasons. One of the most important is to urge younger generations to not accept a status quo where war directly and indirectly permeates every aspect of your lives. We like to think wars half around the world don’t affect us, but they do in very big ways burn holes in our pockets and souls.
The greatest threat for younger people today is to accept the war torn worn world we now live in as immutable, and an unchangeable status quo. We are completely indoctrinated and expected to live with it unquestioningly. I have zero tolerance for the present status quo as I have been eye witness to the events and corruptions leading up to the calamity we all face.
Where those of us late in life might come to accept war as the norm after decades of indoctrination and the stealth incremental collapse of Western Civilization, younger generations must pick up the baton and more forward.
Make no mistake we are seeing the collapse of Western Civilization. It has been anticipated and discussed all of my adult life and now it is here. History verifies this as the collapse of empires is one of its immutable cycles. Empires have risen and fallen through out history and will continue to do so. Their rise and fall is entirely predictable as Humankind is so fallible. We impose our fallibility on the empires we create.
The wars we see now are the desperate deaths throes of a failing empire unwilling to accept the dictates of history and take responsibility for its policy failures and systemic corruptions. It prefers death to atonement and adaptation.
We make frequent reference to the Roman Empire, and the wars of antiquity with the blazing arrogance and conceit that we are immune to such folly while we indulge the same practices destroying our societies-perpetual war being the most prominent.
There is great fear and loathing over the rise of China, when the hate directed at China is mostly generated by the war mongering fascists who want to conquer it.
Racist ethnocentrism is the rusty tool of imperialist war mongers.
The analysts who follow history, economics, and their cycles are already advising that China’s dominance will have peaked by 2050 and that Africa is going to play a bigger part in world affairs as it casts off the shackles of Western colonization.
Geopolitics is always a work in progress where progressive adaption must prevail.
War is a ludicrous option, destroying the future when we should be rationally planning the future. Presently we are the blind leading the blind where vision and civility are in the ditch.
Fascist warlords are the ultimate defeatists.
We must see the present in the context of the recent past. WW II killed 87 million people. Since then millions more have died, countries have been destroyed, waves of refugees had to flee their countries because of wars and the savagery of capitalism gone berserk. Tens of Trillions of dollars have been squandered on militarism globally.
The psychopathy of empires has dominated Western history for too long.
Western Civilization as it stands now is teetering toward collapse. Democracy is gone, our empathy for others suspended, our values and jurisprudence blown to Hell and greater wars threaten us.
Where our democratic institutions are in collapse derelict elites are freewheeling, fomenting war where they should be restoring peace. Never has the alienation of the Western elites and the public they are mandated serve been so replete. Never has the betrayal of Western populations by our elites been so profound as they prostitute themselves to corporate wars for corporate profit.
We have yet to come to grips with the reality of corporatism as the agent of fascism, and the ultimate denigration of socialism, when we are essentially social beings.
Corporate fascism is the ultimate denigration of our humanity and our societies.
Our elites are playing the very infantile game of projecting their own tyrannies, failures, and corruptions on to others to justify war as they have done for decades— a farcical ruse that should not see the light of day .
Never in history have our elites had such overwhelming unaccountable power to manipulate and control populations bending us to their will and our self-destruction. Their conceit and psychosis is so profound they see themselves as the masters of the universe where they have dominion over all; forgetting that the world is a lacework of cultures, many wiser and and more mature than theirs with inalienable rights. Their crass parochialism is truly astounding.
Western governments are looting their own societies to wage war on others. The very zenith of moral depravity.
We are supposed to live in the age of information, clarity and transparency. Our elites, as agents of chaos, have turned it into a Tower of Babel to serve their despotism. As ruthless as they have been with their wars, lies and deceptions we must be equally ruthless in pursuing the truths of our times and our history. History belongs to us. It not theirs to destroy and slander to serve their wicked agendas. It is our story not theirs. History is who we are, without it there is no humanity no reality, just the ghosts of paradise lost.
Americans have had their history stolen and are complicit in its theft. They have yet to understand the premature death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the assassination of John F. Kennedy marked the death knell of their society. The Philistines took over and the venerable sages who have tried to put out the fires of self-immolation are pushed to the margins and beyond.
As Cicero once stated.“He who does not know history is destined to remain a child.”
It also follows there are always those more than willing to steal it; so easily done when we are not even aware of what has been stolen. We are left with the enduring emptiness of sorrow and regret.
We are all children of war, with difficult fully conscious choices to make.
No, I am not saying that but...with all our 'civilization', 'education', supposedly moral high standards and all the other crap the white race claims...the white race certainly excels at wars. Yes, other ethnicities do their 'share' too, but not bragging as much as we do about 'human rights' and such.
Extremely well written and succinct. Thank you.
