The TCMC, who have the rights for global production, was trying to set up manufacturing in the US to improve supply chains and protect the West's access if a war broke out with China, but Americans don't have the skills, patience nor willingness to work in sterile conditions. https://georgiedonny.substack.com/p/the-bbc-is-ready-to-support-the-us

As the quality of politics is has gone down in the West it does not attract the quality of candidates it use to. Too many power seekers and opportunists who no longer see politics as serving their country or the public -- but a free ride on the gravy train.

Especially in the American system there are too many opportunities for graft and corruption.
