Trudeau's pitiful political honeymoon at Canada's expense
If Canada was a democracy Justin Trudeau would not be Prime Minister.
At a time when the world is going through an existential crisis Canada’s prime minister can do no better than call China’s president a “dictator.” Xi Jinping and his government have been instrumental in building peace and prosperity throughout the East while the delusional West has been waging its forever fascist wars. Trudeau is doing Canada irreparable damage in the world community and must be removed.
When governments are elected voters allow them a honeymoon period where they are allowed time to settle in and get their act together before they exercise their mandate. Unfortunately for Canada this government is still on a honeymoon eight years later and counting. It started out by professing to be progressive which never materialized. It managed to legalize pot but since then it has been virtue signalling, gas lighting, with scandals and ethic lapses on going. Where ever the Prime Minister goes, what ever he does, ends up as an embarrassment to the country.
Early on he fired his capable Foreign Affairs minister, lost two of his most capable cabinet ministers due to his own ineptness, and his good friend and Principle Secretary decided it was time to move on. His all-star Finance Minister also made an early exit.
In 2018 the government ran out of things to do so they packed up their bags and went on a junket to India. Everybody is still wondering why that trip was made as it appeared to be a costume party/ photo op. More recently the Prime Minister has managed to ruin relations with India and the Indian media has raked him over thoroughly, especially when he can’t even quote the Geneva Protocols regarding diplomatic appointments accurately.
He and Genocide Joe Biden insist on referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping as a “dictator.” At the the recent APEC meetings in San Francisco Biden again called Xi JinPing a dictator before the entire assembly. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was seen cringing in the front row after Biden said it again.
At a later news conference a reporter reminded Trudeau that he had also called the Chinese president a dictator, and that China was not a democracy and a communist state. Biden and Trudeau like a lot of other Western sock puppets like to slander their competitors while they wage endless war and genocide. Meanwhile, Xi Jinping and other Asian leaders have been ushering in the multipolar world where peace, progress and prosperity will prevail lifting all boats and not just the wicked 1%.
It was only a few years ago the Liberal government was running a pay-for-access scheme where Chinese investors paid to meet with the novice PM. Now they complain about Chinese interference in Canadian affairs…. coming from a listless colonized government where Washington runs our affairs, and our ability to run our own affairs has atrophied.
Canada has alienated key governments around the world except for the USA where it is a colonized toady; a fundamental fact the government and Canadians just refuse to acknowledge. A country pretending to be sovereign, but actually a colony suffers a contorted, absurd, self-denigrating existence.
In the beginning:
In 2013 Justin Trudeau was elected as a member of Parliament. Before becoming party leader he proved himself to be a perfectly mediocre MP. In spite of this he won the leadership causing another highly qualified candidate to withdraw early as he realized Trudeau was going to win on name recognition alone. The Liberal party chose the wrong leader! He went on to win a landslide majority based mostly on voter animosity to the reviled Harper Conservatives.
Once in office Trudeau failed to realize he had a caucus full of newbies that had to learn the ropes. While he was off gadding in the government jet his party struggled through its first term. Indignant that he was not awarded another majority in 2019 he called another election in 2021 which was a virtual carbon copy of 2019. It never occurred to him he had to earn a second majority.
Willful Prime ministers:
It has long been said of Canadian politics that a willful prime minister can do anything they want with the country, given that our present electoral system is, archaic, anti-democratic, and broken. Where Stephen Harper was the highly focused ideologue dismantling the country, Trudeau has been the sophomoric dilettante destroying it with his compulsive incompetence.
Trudeau has openly stated he refuses to undertake meaningful electoral reform as the present system favors the incumbent party, most often his. The Liberal party has promised proportionate representation(PR) for over a hundred years and never delivered on it. Now that we are in neoliberal times with the ongoing denigration of government and democracy PR appears a hopeless cause.
Neoliberalism:
Like so many other countries neoliberalism has put down very deep roots in Canada erasing democracy and leaving government in corporate capture and the electorate disenfranchised. Under neoliberalism governments become cheerleaders for the corporate interests that run them—little wonder we are blessed with perpetual war and social anarchy.
Canada’s last liberal government was that of the father, all governments since then have been neoliberal and all parties adhere to the edicts of neoliberalism. Brian Mulroney was the first neoliberal prime minister and in protest, after two terms in office, voters destroyed his party in 1993.
Trudeau’s political posturing on the Gaza genocide:
As Canada is a puppet to Washington, it is also compliant to Israel’s every wish and votes accordingly in the UNGA. Up until recently it has been silent on Netanyahu’s atrocities, but only very recently has Trudeau come out to denounce the genocide.
He does so for three reasons:
He is under heavy pressure to resign, from the Opposition, from members of his own party, and 63% of Canadians want him gone.
There has been huge support for the plight of Palestinians from Canadians and his government finds itself on the wrong side of history.
Palestinian human rights lawyers have served notice on three officials, (the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Trade). They are charging them with complicity in war crimes, and the case will be tried by the ICC.
Once again he is posturing trying to save his political skin. His only concern is his political survival when he is in a life boat shot full of holes by his own hand. He is not the Right Honorable any more but a political pariah who for the sake of his country must be removed from office.
In 1989 Canadian academic H.T. Wilson wrote his book Retreat From Governance as he saw all the indicators that Canada was retreating from being a nation to a colony. Now the colonization is complete. Trudeau is in full retreat from governance and his role as prime minister is largely redundant.
In the words of economist and philosopher Amartya Sen, “the colonized mind is parasitically obsessed with the extraneous relation with the colonial powers.”1
This quote not only sums up the disposition of the present prime minister, but Canada’s political elites in general as they see Canada as a colony living the empire’s existence on its terms. Canadians may well be content this present state of being; but it does not bode well for the future. The only safe haven in a rapidly changing world is a strong vigorous nation state.
The world is going through dynamic change and Canada in its present incarnation is going to be a big loser.
It appears Canada has lost its self-respect and could care less how it presents itself to the world.

It might help getting rid of this antiquated 'first past the post' election system.
