I agree it is racism, but also many other factors ranging from class warfare to the fundamental refusal to accept its empire is in decline. It is suffering imperial overreach and cannot accept the US only speaks for 5% of the world population, with the entire West only at 12%. It is desperately trying to compensate for what lit lacks in population with belligerence and endless war.

The sad fact is that with its present intransigence the US is weakening itself as an essential countervail to China's rising power.

Racism originated with the slave trade about five hundred years ago courtesy of European imperialists. I have just been to New Orleans and visited a museum showing how brutally blacks were treated.
