Saudi Arabia peace talks- Zelensky's contemptuous hoax
Washington and Kiev continue to dance among the ruins of their failed treachery.
Zelensky sold his soul to NATO, presided over the destruction of his country, and now pretends to be a statesman.

A war in Ukraine that Washington and NATO planned, financed and provoked is now over; at least the Ukrainian chapter of a much bigger global war has ended. The bigger war actually started when the USSR collapsed in 1991 and Washington’s neocons set their sights on over throwing both Russia and China.
The US just can’t stand the fact those countries two are the only sovereign states remaining in the world, have successfully re-invented themselves; and the only two capable of standing up to their endless belligerence and war on the world.
The Ukraine conflict is a war Russia never wanted but was forced to undertake as NATO, after promising many years ago not to push up to Russia did so anyways. Then came the 2014 Maiden coup which installed a NATO puppet government and Ukraine became a de facto member state; at which point NATO spent eight years preparing the Ukraine military for war against Russia. Given this imminent strategic threat, and a civil war in Ukraine where ethnic Russian civilians where being slaughtered Putin was forced to intervene.
He did so with one hand behind his back as he did not want to see either Ukrainians or Russians die unnecessarily as both are Slavic peoples sharing culture and language( most Ukrainians know and understand Russian), much like English Canadians and French Canadians are enclaves in a larger nation.
The conflict only came about as a result of NATO’s arrogant refusal to negotiate security agreements long sought after by Russia, and now very relevant given NATO’s incursion into Ukraine and the need to intervene in the civil war driven by Neo-Nazi Ukrainian militias.
Where Russia has always been available for peace negotiations, NATO has compulsively escalated the conflict, as its actual intention has been to cause regime change in Moscow and the collapse of the Russian economy.
NATO seriously miscalculated Russia’s response and resilience. It has emerged from the conflict stronger then ever.
For its part NATO has conducted a helter-skelter, “on the fly” strategy resulting in their NATO puppet , Zelensky, being denied the resources required to win the war, and Ukrainian troops becoming needless cannon fodder. NATO set Zelensky up for failure
As it stands now Ukraine has lost the war. Russia has dug in and consolidated its positions and controls the war zone. Unless NATO mounts an all out counter offensive, which it is unwilling to do (this would mean open warfare with Russia) the war is stalemated and peace negotiations are long over due.
It should be noted here that in April 2022 Ukraine president Zelensky indicated he was available for a negotiated settlement. This was quickly shot down when, now former, British prime minister Boris Johnson paid him a visit. NATO never wanted peace just escalation in the vain hope their puppet would get their dirty work done sacrificing his country in the process.
As it stands now, NATO, led by Washington, is facing a huge loss of face as it should be entering into peace negotiations, but to do is a humiliation the empire cannot face. There must be yet another diversion, another gambit, another sleight of hand. Peace talks are now scheduled for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on August 5th and 6th.
A unilateral ten point peace plan has been drawn up.
Russia has been excluded from the talks.
The purpose of the talks is to work toward a later summit for formal ratifications.
Here we enter the theater of the absurd!
After we quit laughing we see these talks in Saudi Arabia as what they are— a contemptuous hoax.
Throughout the war a negotiated settlement was Russia’s chosen option, reckless escalation was NATO’s compulsive behavior. A negotiated settlement was a face saving off-ramp for both sides. It is no longer there as Russia has made the sacrifice and is in a position to take a hard line in any negotiations.
The duo of Biden and Zelensky has deliberately staked out pre-conditions Russia will never agree to. They know that in formal peace negotiations they will face further humiliation in the propaganda war and under the public eye.
The fact that Russia has been excluded from the talks shows how contemptuous the West has become of due process. The Saudi talks can only be seen as a hoax and another farcical attempt to paint Russia as the outlier and villain of the peace.
It is blazingly apparent that US foreign policy is driven by a visceral hatred of Russia and China which is totally irrational and a threat to the world community.
We see once again what is the fundamental driver of the global crisis. Washington refuses to be accountable for its crimes past and present against the global community. It is only capable of speaking the language of war as it dances among the ruins of its failed machinations.
Tragically, the greatness of America is in the hands of the wrong leaders at a crucial time for it and the world.
Where America demands exclusivity , the world community must insist on inclusivity for all as an existential necessity.
The contemptuous hoax
Here are the ten points (from Reuters):
Zelensky first announced his peace formula at a November summit of the Group of 20 major economies.
The plan calls for:
1. Radiation and nuclear safety, focusing on restoring safety around Europe's largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine, which is now-Russian occupied.
2. Food security, including protecting and ensuring Ukraine's grain exports to the world's poorest nations.
3. Energy security, with focus on price restrictions on Russian energy resources, as well as aiding Ukraine with restoring its power infrastructure, half of which has been damaged by Russian attacks.
4. Release of all prisoners and deportees, including war prisoners and children deported to Russia.
5. Restoring Ukraine's territorial integrity and Russia reaffirming it according the U.N. Charter, which Zelensky said is "not up to negotiations".
6. Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities, restoration of Ukraine's state borders with Russia.
7. Justice, including the establishment of a special tribunal to prosecute Russian war crimes.
8. Prevention of ecocide, need for protection of environment, with focus on de-mining and restoring water treatment facilities.
9. Prevention of escalation of conflict, and building security architecture in the Euro-Atlantic space, including guarantees for Ukraine.
10. Confirmation of the war's end, including a document signed by the involved parties.
For anybody who has followed Ukraine conflict as I have, Zelensky’s ten points are a contemptuous hoax. Elected in 2019 as president of Ukraine on a peace platform he immediately reverted to a war footing as agent and puppet for NATO. From day one he has acted on Washington’s orders.
From day one this was NATO’s war on Russia and Zelensky their dupe.
Zelensky’s ten points are a desperate attempt to scapegoat Russia once again.
Where negotiations were possible several months they are intractable now. The fault clearly lies with Kiev and Washington.
