Just noting that the obsession with racism didn’t appear until after the 2009 crash, when the Occupy Wall Street movement made some very good points. I worked on Wall Street, so I know. I am not a socialist, but the oligarchic marriage of government and financialized American capitalism is a nightmare. We have a common enemy: the U.S. government. And it has troubled the peace of the world for long enough with its arrogance and evil, me thinks.

"oligarchic marriage of government and financialized American capitalism" very well put, I might have to borrow that one .

Please do! I doubt it is original to me. I think it's fairly accurate. I am many, many years past my Milton Friedman/libertarian period (as with Nietzsche, a good stage to pass through), and so no knee-jerk defender of "capitalism," but I don't think what prevails in the USA is "capitalism." "Service" economies, which is what the USA is, are just middlemen. No creation of value. Just skimming a few basis points off any given contract.

Revolution is the only answer. Yes fight for reform but ultimately only when we overthrow capitalism will the world be free!

The word 'civilized' should be used with GREAT CAUTION. And the same applies to the word 'democracy'.
