When the words and actions of the elites, people and army of a country explicitly state their purpose is to erase another group of people - its history, culture, lives - then this I think qualifies as genocide. The current assault on Gaza and resulting atrocities reminds me of accounts of when the Wehrmacht rolled through Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union in 1941. The level of destruction and dehumanization of Jews, Slavs and Roma then is the same as the level of dehumanization of Palestinians now. Remember it’s not only Netanyahu, Gallant and others who are making statements that incite genocide but that 98% of the Israeli public state say the IDF is using sufficient or not enough force in the current assault on Gaza. Only 2% oppose, think about that.

Early on in the bullying and massacre of the Palestinians I was talking to one of my soccer friends who happens to be from Turkey and he referred to what’s going on in Gaza as a genocide. I told him that I didn’t think it was a bonafide genocide but rather a murderous bullying campaign on steroids perpetrated by a group of sociopathic, psychopathic malignant narcissists. Ethnic cleansing - yup. Bonafide genocide? I’m not sure. But if you’re a baby who’s been blown up by a huge bomb dropped on your head the net result is the same. And so it goes…. Allow creeps to run the show…. And…. You end up with a situation that makes a run of the mill catastrophe look like a garden party. It’s truly beyond comprehension.
