Is NATO ready to take on China?
The emerging multipolar world is an existential essential for planet Earth. NATO is persona non grata
The emerging multipolar world is essential for planet Earth. NATO is persona non grata.
America’s Rand Corporation has warned the US government if it doesn’t “take out” China by 2025 it will be unstoppable. This advice raises many, many questions. The first of which is why is it necessary to “stop” China in the first place? Chinese president Xi Jinping advised US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a recent visit the world is big enough for both China and the US to co-exist peacefully, especially so when a war between the two powers is a direct threat to planetary survival.
The deadline set by the Rand corporation is dubious, as depending on how wealth is measured China is already the world’s dominate economy. Where the West puts so much emphasis on GDP economists are exposing it as a flawed indicator, especially so when Russia has a very modest GDP and is punching a way above its weight class.
Both Russia and China are heavily industrialized, while the foundations of the de-industrialized West are teetering. While the West has dissipated its energy and resources on perpetual wars, the East has been focused on building better futures.
“Take out” and “stop” are not the lingo of diplomacy, reciprocity or rapprochement. It is the crude language of a warrior state that only speaks the language of perpetual war , bloodshed and tyranny. While it compulsively sees the world as its own to be conquered and exploited it fails to see its own weakened condition; and how decades of perpetual war have left its own society weakened and shattered. The Sorrows of the Empire.
The insane hubris that drives NATO is an infantile tantrum where there is a criminal disregard for the rights of others, the consequences of one’s actions, and the pathetic legacy left for future generations the world over. Where a rogue super power refuses to hold itself accountable and take responsibility for its malfeasance the world community must intervene aggressively. We are all, more than ever in the same boat, a unitary planet where we must see the world holistically.
NATO has the very bad habit of shitting its diapers in countries around the world and leaving the mess behind for others to clean up. Before the Ukraine fiasco there was Afghanistan. It spent 20 incontinent years in Afghanistan blowing up the country and pissing away 2.3 trillion dollars, only to walk away in 2021 leaving a humanitarian disaster behind to provoke another fiasco in Ukraine in 2022.
History of course shows us NATO has had its eyes on Ukraine for the past 30 years (and more) as a staging area and proxy for war against Russia. The rubber hit the road in 2014 when the US staged a coup d’etat and installed a puppet government to NATOize the country and prepare it for war against Russia. For the the next eight years it poured tens of billions of dollars of aid into Ukraine, providing weaponry and training for its military in preparation for a war it would provoke against Russia.
For Russia it was very alarming Ukraine was being NATOized, and obviously being prepared for war on its very door step. It petitioned NATO for security guarantees which were haughtily refused. The “refusal” being deliberate as a means to provoke Russia into a conflict to defend its territorial integrity. As usual NATO was masterful in provoking and starting wars and parking the blame elsewhere. NATO”s puerile treachery forced Russia to play its hand to protect its strategic security and intervene in a civil war being waged in Ukraine’s eastern provinces where thousands of ethnic Russian civilians were being slaughtered by Ukrainian Neo-Nazi militia’s.
It is a gripping historical irony that 80 years later Russia is now fighting another fascist insurgency on its borders, and the insurgency is fully financed and led by so- called democratic western governments. The pedigree of NATO deserves much further historic investigation, where in earlier times its senior staff was a safe haven for veteran officer’s of the destroyed Third Reich.
Where war is a hideous temper tantrum ; it is also profound revelation where hideous truths long buried take center stage and Mad Hatter propagandists become apoplectic.
Where Russia from the outset was open to peace negotiations NATO’s compulsive response was to escalate and eventually sabotage any hope of a negotiated peace.
After the first few months of the conflict it was apparent Russia was moving toward victory, NATO continued to pour in billions of dollars in equipment arriving too late and in insufficient quantities. It was was well known NATO had troops, advisors, technicians and mercenaries on the ground while denying being a party to the conflict and refusing to grant long promised NATO membership to Ukraine. While NATO was fighting a helter-skelter improvisation, Russia’s every move was calculated with restraint and targeted for peace negotiations
Where Russian troops knew they were in a battle for the salvation of their country against Western imperialists; how many Ukrainian troops knew they were fighting for a puppet who had sold out their country to Western investors? How many were aware vast sums of money for their war effort were pilfered? How many were aware they were no more than cannon fodder for panicked politicians half-way around the world?
America’s catastrophic geopolitical blunder
History is like Moby Dick running deep and vigilant under the surface, ready to explode to the surface and destroy ships of state asleep having partied too late and too often.
In the 1970’s when Henry Kissinger was US Secretary of State it was recognized that they could never allow and any sort of reciprocity between the USSR and China. As the two powers occupied the most of n the Asian heartland as the world’s biggest land mass. If they ever formed a mutual cooperation pact America’s global dominance would be permanently blocked. The US recognized a One China Policy, but his is now part of America’s hypocrisy as it is using Taiwan as staging area for war against China, just as it has done with Ukraine in the West.
When the USSR collapsed in 1991 America’s imperialists were crazy with joy. With the USSR gone their dream of global primacy was a given a new impetus and they planned accordingly. This was their biggest blunder foundational to the world crisis of today.
As America’s malevolent intentions became clear Russia and China pulled together to form a mutual defense pact and economic alliance as a bulwark against American military and commercial aggression. A new arms race was born, and a new cold war with it.
The US could have avoided all of this by pursuing soft power rapprochement with the newly orphaned Russia; instead it was quick to alienate Russia and redraw the Iron Curtain.
The reason Vladimir Putin is so thoroughly reviled in the West is that he defied the empire successfully and insisted on Russian sovereignty where so many other colonized countries have simply walked away from theirs.
Not only did American imperialist aggression force Russia and China into a formidable and permanent alliance, it has laid the cornerstones of a now emerging multipolar world—essential to planetary survival.
America has made the fundamental error that enduring power and influence do not come about through militarism, war, exploitation and oppression. These come about through reciprocity, rapprochement and detente. Virtue trumps villainy and people come before profits.
The futile rage of Brinkmanship
Brinkmanship has long been a corner stone of US foreign policy where small defenseless countries can be intimidated and coerced into submission, leading to colonization reducing them to puppet states, stripped of their wealth and cultures. Where the powers are some what co-equal as they are between the USA, Russia and China brinkmanship is not an effective tool, as Russia and China are not tin-pot-banana-republics that will succumb to endless threats and racist vilification. They have real power and the legitimate right to self-determination as do all countries of the world.
Under present circumstances the rage of American brinkmanship directed at China and Russia is no more than delusional and irresponsible wishful thinking, and no substitute for genuine sincere progressive diplomacy, as is America’s obligation to the world community.
Is NATO ready to take on China?
NATO has always been the agency for America’s imperialism, even though it has long been it has long been touted as a defense alliance for Western Europe. Thanks to the egregious stupidity of NATO’s leader Europe is now in economic ruin.
Afghanistan is historically known as“ the grave yard of empires “ a land so forbidding no empire can successfully conquer it. NATO spent 20 years there squandering its resources and plundering the country. Now it has moved on to Ukraine, more squandering, more plunder. NATO is an indiscriminate digger of graves, including its own.
Ukraine is now a smoldering ruin and NATO is preparing for war on China. It just set up shop in Japan while its navies are harassing (Gun Boat diplomacy) China in the Straits of Taiwan.
Is NATO ready to take on China?
The simple answer it will depend on how much more delusional and desperate NATO leaders become.
NATO is the predominate threat to world peace; and this threat must be nullified,
It depends how vigorously the world community and its truant leaders are willing to insist on peace.
It depends on how long we are willing to tolerate the immense collateral damage being inflicted on the whole planet by this crisis.
Are we ready to see NATO take on China ?
Future generations will look back on these dark times, as the birthing pains of an essential multipolar, progressive and more just world order. There is a Middle Way and we must find it.

Afterword:
In the collective West where the Mainstream Media (MSM) has sold its soul to the gods of war, political leadership is morally bankrupt, and propaganda and lies litter the airwaves….. sharing is more important ever. Please do.
