When Truth flows like red hot lava
This 21st Century is supposedly the post modern era. Reverting to the barbarism of Medieval times is hideous.
Truth should never have to arrive as a volcanic rupture of lava, it must be a cherished consciousness in free-flow throughout our societies.
In the time of failing empires and social upheaval truth requires constant nurturing as there are powerful forces trying to subvert it in service to their demonic agendas. The existence of empires is dependent on endless lies, deceptions and naked hypocrisies to where they have a momentum of their own.
Unfortunately for the blundering Empire lies and subversions accumulate to where they explode, full force, like red hot lava. What was subterranean explodes to the surface for all to see. When truth is suppressed for too long, and too often, it becomes incendiary, and frozen landscapes burn brightly, reminding us of the volatility of our existence.
Change is the ultimate arbiter of our existence.
The problem for empires is their crimes become volcanic. Over time subterranean pressures build as the lies become too sloppy, too flagrant, eventually exploding into the open. Mindless minstrels fail to hide their gloating smirks, teetering pallid geriatrics forget their lines. The hugs and hand shakes are exaggerated flattery, brothers and sisters in arms do their devilry. Then there are the Freudian slips the media just can’t hide and the loose reducing politicians, prime ministers and presidents to parody.
The collapse of empires is due in large part to the omnipresence of videos and cell phones always on the job recording the Empire’s indiscretions.
Whatever happened to the “embedded journalists” in Gaza who were supposed to insure we we don’t see first hand the naked truth of an actual genocide? The empire is getting very sloppy: or maybe they think their impunity is iron clad.
Complacency and messianic delusions are the death of empires. Truth persists where power is always fleeting.
In the Ukraine we saw the slaughter and ruination of a country and its peoples. We were allowed to see it because Russia was the supposed perpetrator, when in fact, this was just another NATO proxy war aimed at weakening Russia, Ukraine takes the fall. Empires are crafty at fighting their wars at others expense, on others territory. It is war and genocide by remote control and executive privilege.
Truth frozen in time suddenly becomes fluid as the liars undress themselves in the public square.
Truth is the red hot lava of our times, It has an enduring persistence, especially in deposing sloppy overwrought empires spilling their guts for world to see its fossilized anatomy, its dead soul.
Empires ultimately and inevitably become stone cold grave yards where the sun has set and the rest of the world has moved on. We live amidst the ruins of ancient former empires; maybe that is our fate?

Empires parasitically prey on their own country, as they also do on their satellite nations(NATO) they control and exploit. Satellites become mimics of the empire and complicit in the crimes of the Empire.
When there is a pandemic of prevarication precipitated by the presence of a marauding empire such noble ideals of freedom of speech and the press are burned alive like the witches of old in town squares.
The collapse of the mainstream media in Canada is both replete and utterly transparent.
Its content has always been trimmed in favor of the Empire’s appetites, especially concerning matters of war, imperialism and economic extortion.
To make matters worse the same corporate owned media now receives government subsidies, and Google has to pay a $100 million a year for operating in a foreclosed country where it does a much better job at news and opinion gathering than the resident media.
To make matters even worse the government is introducing legislation that will further limit the access Canadians have to the outside world beyond our parochial borders.
Canada claims to have a independent progressive media but it is a fraud compared to its American counter part. South of the border they really do speak truth to power and from a global perspective.
In both the US and Canada the MSM shamelessly shapes their coverage in favor of the empire. The empire will allow a modicum of free speech and free press to keep up appearances in a flash flood of inverted totalitarianism.
Colonized Canada fearing the wrath of the empire its obedience is so ham-fisted as to be transparent. Their idolatry of the empire is that of cheering groupies.
All one has to do is to go to foreign sources to see the huge discrepancies between what is reported at home and abroad.
We know pollsters are publishing cooked polls showing Canadians favor the Israel’s genocide.

Breach media is one of the few news outlets where journalistic impartiality and integrity are maintained, where other outlets are pimping for the criminality of the empire. They are determined to breach the propaganda wall as so many others are world wide, and very deserving of our support. The mainstream media is a fossilized corpse.
Canadian journalists complain about news rooms shutting down and jobs becoming scarce, little wonder when journalism has mutated into propaganda. What remains is pay cheque blinkered journalism where truth is fabricated for a moment in time.
Canada among so many other Western countries are in foreclosure by their own choice, closing their borders on the world, on the wrong side History.

I miss the Canada of days past, the Canada that refused to participate in the Southeast Asian slaughter fest, defying the Empire by sheltering young American men of conscience. The Canada of current days is no longer a better version of the US, it's Prime Minister a virtual vice president of the DC cabal without portfolio, but more useful than the VP in Washington. Mr. Trudeau even has a designated watcher in his American-trained Deputy Prime Minister, an office recently created.

Well, thanks! Some of us do, anyway, but the only reason we can do so in the first place is the First Amendment. Canada's conveniently flexible "constitution" has no such ironclad guarantee. Plus, even though we have the First Amendment, our free speech rights are under constant assault, as the recent organized calls for censorship on Substack illustrate.
Something like the First Amendment would make free speech much easier to preserve in Canada. I highly recommend it.
