We must listen to the essential voices

The so called “leaders of the West” are the incompetents who failed and are now trying to bully their way out of a collapse for which they are fully responsible.

When the butcher of Tel Aviv gave his deplorable speech to Congress there were 50,000 demonstrators outside the capitol building, mostly young people, many students. He singled out the demonstrators out for special invective as he feared them. He knew this was another generation of student demonstrators like those who were instrumental in ending the Vietnam War. He new the power of their voices as it was their future he was destroying. He also might have realized that they have a purity of spirit, integrity and idealism he and his vile cohorts walked away from long ago.

A reader of one of my recent blogs ended her comment with the following quote. It stopped me in my tracks as I shared her wish… what to do, as they “flounder”?

“I don't hold out a lot of hope for western leaders reinventing themselves. I don't think they're going to undrink that kool-aid. I wish we knew what we should do as they flounder...”

I respond by first of all stating that there is no hope for them reinventing themselves as they are the lost souls, the casualties of a corrupt and broken system, the detritus for discarding. They are the insane pyromaniac’s fanning the fires they started. They are the sociopaths with no regard for consequences of their actions. They must be replaced by a new slate of reform-minded leaders willing to pursue real statecraft and actual diplomacy with integrity. We must identify and support agents of real change.

What we should and must do is speak the truth of our times and listen to the voices speaking those truths.

The truth of our times lies in history which is the benchmark and reference point as it is the enduring “whistleblower” for all times. Despots committing their vile subversions must first of all slander history out of existence, slaughter democracy and socialist values— these are the values that define us as humanist societies. In other words despots are determined to atomize our humanity.

Tragically the corporatist owned mainstream media has been instrumental in perpetrating the lies and propaganda that have come to be considered “freedom of the press”. The mainstream “press” has become recumbent prestitutes.

One of the greatest lies of our time that persists is who started the Ukraine war? It so happens there is an irrefutable historic record going back forty years that western treachery (NATO) provoked the war. Where Russia sought a diplomatic solution, NATO wanted war as that is the business it is in. Russia had the devil on its door step and was forced to intervene.

Further more, Ukraine was long ago designated by Western strategic planners as the staging area for war against Russia and ultimately conquering all of Eurasia. Western despots of every rank cannot admit this profound truth; just like they bury the fact the Nord Stream pipelines were so obviously blown up by Washington for strategic reasons, at the same time a betrayal of colonized Europe. The smirk on Joe Biden’s face (and others of his ilk) told the story.

One of the reasons this crisis is so devastating is that the wrong and evil voices have prevailed for so long lies become the truth. In our times the dictum that a lie told often enough becomes the truth is very alarming, especially so when the mainstream media unquestioningly endorses the lies of politicians,“running cover” for them.

The lies we have lived with for so long must be uprooted and hung in the public square.

The voices that should be heard are not being heard. They are pushed to the margins, intimidated, jailed and deplatformed. This is the tragedy of America. It has its share of the world’s greatest thinkers and scholars who should be central to the debate but are shunned by the willfully ignorant troglodytes and unelected ideologues who control the agenda serving the barbaric empire at the expense of the Republic.

I write only after listening to the voices that inform me, true to their word and verifiable by cross referencing and the annals of history. Many of us are going to the same sources as this is where the true patriots and well-informed dissidents are writing and speaking out. Historical and political literacy have never been so important as they are today.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs is one of the voices I listen to. He, like many others, is leading us through dark times and paving the way for better futures.

They are incapable of repentance and can only respond with, spite, malice, and greater wars in the game they are so conspicuously losing.

In the video above Sachs points out the multipolar world has arrived and is prevailing. The intransigent West is so stupefied it refuses to realize it must take its place side by side and in harmony with the world’s other nations and civilizations.

So conspicuously, the failing empire sees the world in hostile paranoid terms as this is the trick it uses to justify its wanton lawlessness and and criminal warfare. For empires trickery and treachery go hand-in-hand. Where it accuses other nations of terrorism it remains the world’s leading terrorist state.

Sachs concludes Washington suffers, “self-proclaimed exceptionalism, its self-proclaimed hegemony, its all delusional, dangerous and expensive.” In other words speaking for only 12% of the world’s population it is desperately trying to bully itself into full spectrum global dominance.

Bluffing and brinkmanship also go hand-in-hand and are the agents of the West’s self-destruction.
