“Ukraine has been one war too many for NATO. It has exposed its neoliberal imperialist agenda for all the world to see. It has used Ukraine as a Trojan horse to attack Russia. Where Russia has responded with a carefully calculated and restrained response, NATO has run a helter-skelter deceit continually escalating and leaving their Ukraine puppet begging for more cash and equipment, too often arriving late.
Ukraine, thanks to NATO, has died the death of a thousand cuts in a war it has been losing from the outset. Where there should have been negotiations they were sabotaged by NATO. A war NATO thought it could win “on the cheap” has left Ukraine in Ruins.”

“To abandon facts is to abandon freedom. If nothing is true, then no one can criticize power, because there is no basis upon which to do so. If nothing is true, then all is spectacle. The biggest wallet pays for the most blinding lights.”

The comfort of the reassuring lies
As war rages on there are so many associated issues demanding attention.
There is the debate over who and what caused this war. The debate is going to last a very long time resulting in endless rancor, focusing on the blame when we should be moving forward to essential peace and equilibrium.
It is reported the US is preparing for war crimes trials against Russia. This raises the question with whom does the criminality of this war lie?
It is also reported NATO was targeting Ukraine as far back as 1991 when the USSR collapsed. History and a study of geopolitics are the ultimate adjudicators of how this conflict came about. Any suggestion of war crimes is fatuous and premature as war in itself is criminality, especially so when there are imperialist wars ongoing. Needless to say imperialism, neoliberalism, neocolonialism, ethnocentrism in these times are taboo topics not openly discussed.
The issues destroying our world are the very ones least discussed.
It is amazing people cannot look at a map see how Ukraine and Taiwan are Trojan horses for NATO attacks on China and Russia. A simple look at a map shows the sinister intentions of Western warmongers. We are told an endless series of lies and hypocrisy- hypocrisy so blatant you can cut it with a knife.
War is revelation. There is a mountain of historical evidence readily available for those willing to view the world more objectively. Too few are willing to climb that mountain and war mongers, sock puppet politicians and propagandists try to make sure it is never climbed.
Do I side with Russia? China ? NATO? No! I side with the truths of history as they are the most reliable reference points we have. To ignore them is to fall into nihilism and chaos that in themselves destroy us. War is gas thrown on the fire with revisionist history fanning the flames. Among the fundamental causes of this crisis are endless propaganda, and revisionist history. It is a witches brew of lying, treachery and corruption that after seventy years has burst into a flaming hell.
While we sit back with our ill-informed notions and reassuring lies we might like to take a look at the despicable morality that is killing Ukraine by a thousand cuts.
Neoliberalism: The killer ideology
Many years ago I came across the book Profit Over People by Noam Chomsky. It was my primer on neoliberalism. Chomsky did his usual very good analysis but what alarmed me most was the introduction to the book by Robert W. McChesney. He provided an excellent definition of what it is, and he also outlined the effects it was having on societies. He gave the reader an open window on the future. Decades later his prophecy is right on the mark.
What is most discouraging is that the book was written almost 25 years ago and there is a massive ignorance of an ideology that has been with us for half a century and devastated our social structures. As early as the 1970’s the unchecked growth of corporations, and their power over government was becoming very obvious. Now it has been a fait accompli for too many decades.
In my own country, Canadians are disgusted at the abysmal performance of our leaders and federal government. We fail to realize our government is not liberal but neoliberal and fully imbued with John Ralston Saul’s colonial mindset. Being colonial managers with time on their hands and not acquainted with the skills and obligations of nation building they get themselves into all sorts of mischief as they stumble from one scandal and SFU to another. Canada is a case study for the deleterious impact neoliberalism has on countries. Canada is one among many and the esteemed USA is another. Canada is an echo chamber for everything American, including its imperialist wars.
Poor Ukraine gets the neoliberal stab in the back
The Russians are fighting a war they never wanted and sought a negotiated settlement based on security guarantees prior to the war. NATO has planned and sought this war since 1991, using Ukraine as its Trojan horse to destroy Russia.
Continued NATO escalation and dumping billions of dollars of weaponry into Ukraine leave Russia no alternative but conclude the war on its terms, where it will probably declare a demilitarized zone (similar to North and South Korea ).
Ukraine’s puppet president touts the line that his country must be liberated; but his betrayal is compounded. The Western neoliberal juggernaut is already carving up Ukraine as their factory farm, where labor standards are savaged and democracy suspended indefinitely.
Not only has NATO been recklessly immoral in provoking this war; the arrival of the neoliberal parasites show Russia it has only one alternative-total unconditional domination of the region.
Depending on NATO’s reckless adventurism and ability to supply weaponry a long conflict is insured.
NATO made some serious miscalculations in provoking this war resulting in the economic devastation of Western Europe. It miscalculated Russian ability to withstand economic sanctions , as well as its ability to sustain an effective military defense of its interests.
Playing the neoliberal card is another grievous mistake as they want to steal Ukraine for a neoliberal fiefdom.
This war has never been about the liberation of Ukraine and everything to do with turning Ukraine into another Western puppet state and staging area for war on Russia.
Ukrainian President Zelensky is now on a tour of world capitals to establish his legitimacy as another Western puppet at a time when he is losing a war that might see his country reduced to a demilitarized zone; which Russia asked for before the the war began.
In the video below three world class experts discuss the fate of Ukraine as another casualty of neoliberalism:
With the advent of neoliberalism corporate power rules over government. Presidents, prime ministers and chancellors are no more than acolytes to the vested interests they serve. There is no state craft in the West because there are no sovereign states.
Governments in the West are no more than dupes for corporations and the fascism that is inherent in corporatism where money and power are the only considerations leaving a trail of fractured democracies, futures foreclosed and populations betrayed and abandoned.
“Neoliberalism on steroids” is synonymous with economic fascism, and capitalist wars totally out of control. What is happening in Ukraine is another extremely bloody example of what has happened in so many other countries dating back to the Chilean coup of 1973. Where neoliberalism cannot win by treachery and intimidation it resorts to open warfare. NATO is the neoliberal goon squad always on stand by.
Now it is so arrogant as to carve up Ukraine before the war is decided. Is it so desperate it is trying to induce a fait accompli? Russia is in a fight for it’s very existence, its tenacity is understandable. NATO’s role as the Mad Hatter is delusional and an egregious betrayal. Betraying Ukraine just as it has Western Europe.
Since the conflict began 10 million Ukrainians have left the the country as refugees. Regardless of the outcome they will never get to return, what was theirs is gone.
Ukraine has been one war too many for NATO. It has exposed its neoliberal imperialist agenda for all the world to see. It has used Ukraine as a Trojan horse to attack Russia. Where Russia has responded with a carefully calculated and restrained response, NATO has run a helter-skelter rear guard action continually escalating and leaving their Ukraine puppet begging for more cash and equipment, too often arriving late.
Ukraine, thanks to NATO, has died the death of a thousand cuts in a war it has been losing from the outset. Where there should have been negotiations they were sabotaged by NATO. A war NATO thought it could win “on the cheap” has left Ukraine in Ruins.
NATO is waging wars at a pivotal point in the planet’s history where it is essential that all nations, big and small, should be working cooperatively to build better futures for all and insuring the preservation of the planet.
It has parked itself on the wrong side of history and will be ticketed accordingly.
