Trump and Netanyahooo: The barbarous"doominaries"
We are living in an era where “spectacle” buries morality and countless other sacred values and precepts in shallow graves.

I actually began writing another blog this morning, but then I came across Caitlin Johnstone’s compelling missive, Even More Assaults On Free Speech To Silence Criticism Of Israel. Reading it made me so angry my original blog was preempted in favor of this one. As usual, there’s so much happening so quickly blogs in progress often get sidelined. My drafts list only grows longer as the “relevant” gets pushed to the back of the line by the incoming travesties of our times.
We are living in an era where “spectacle” buries morality and countless other sacred values and precepts in shallow graves. Nothing is sacred anymore as our world devolves into an unsustainable profanity, led by a cabal of zombie “doominaries.”
Trump and Netanyahoo see themselves as all-powerful when they are really prisoners to serious pathologies impairing their judgments. Their psychological profiles are very familiar to modern day psychologists and there are many historic figures with similar profiles.
As British Lord Acton said in 1887: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
There is no doubt the Collective West suffers on because of concentrations of power, privilege and corruptions in too few hands in key places— all with a profound lack of accountability which is always an essential— the failure of consensus building is another.
America is a country that has shunned diplomacy and the wisdom of its best diplomats for too long. They are the vocal dissidents, the true patriots, the canaries in the coal mine.
NATO is a case in point as it should have been disbanded after the collapse of the USSR. Instead it continued to colonize Europe and became a part of the Empire’s military complex and expanded eastward to Russia’s Border. In very large part, setting the stage for the crisis of today where the presence of empire and its consequent colonizing distort and debilitate the ability of national governments to function effectively.
Only months ago NATO was pivoting to the South China Sea for war against China now it is a shambles. Trump is going to have trouble collecting his 5% tribute tax from member states, bamboozled and broke from a war that never should have happened.
“Yet, Europe’s elites, more brainwashed than the former Biden Administration, refuse to relent. This is the peril of selling one’s soul to America, as Europe has done for over eighty years. By allowing America to de facto occupy the continent, Europe has lost its identity. Now, abandoned by America, Europe is in shock, desperately seeking to rediscover itself. “
The crisis of the “Collective West” has five fundamental causes:
The parasitic presence of a failing empire.
The erosion of democratic processes and institutions.
A refusal to accept the new realities and multipolarism of the 21st century.
An obstinate over commitment to militarism and a failure to recognize the era of great power competition is both over, and no longer affordable.
A refusal to accept that no single power can, or be allowed to, dominate the world. There must a existential commitment to more a more lawful peace co-existence by all, for all.
The above is a brief synopsis. None of the above can be addressed until there is a return to equilibrium and civility where progressive change prevails over reactionary chaos.
The doominaries are ideological savages where competent statespersons and diplomats must preside. There are no quick fixes for the crises of the Collective West. Solutions are years in the making and forever wars only make the crisis situation worse.
History is a constantly evolving matrix of events influenced by many forces all at the same time. Some more dominant than others. Some secreted, and some naked aggression. Racism, Zionism, Imperialism, Militarism,Neoliberalism are all negative "isms" derogating our societies.
We are indeed suffering too many negative and virulent "isms" all of our own making.
The good news is that the counter revolution where citizens are coalescing, pushing back and speaking out is emerging.
