Trudeau's post, "post national state"
For Trudeau the “post national state“ was the rationale he needed to abdicate from providing effective leadership.
“Postnationalism or non-nationalism is the process or trend by which nation states and national identities lose their importance relative to cross-nation and self-organized or supranational and global entities as well as local entities”.-Google
“Your core identity is made up of the attributes that make you unique as an individual such as behaviors, values, skills, and items from your given and chosen category._”—Google
For Trudeau the “post national state“ was the rationale he needed to abdicate from providing effective leadership.
As the world is moving rapidly toward multipolarism, he is one of too many Western leaders out of step with the times. He and 29 other NATO member states provoked a war that never should have happened over issues that could have been peacefully negotiated.

I have suspected for a long time Justin Trudeau’s use of the “post national state”was picked up in his indoctrination with George Soros? At the time he used the term I was flabbergasted as I asked myself, does he really know what he is saying? Eight years later it is confirmed that in most instances he doesn’t know and is very prone to the repeated use of cliches and platitudes to cover every occasion.
I have also wondered if the reason he gets away with so much under performance is that too many Canadians are too young to have served time under his father. I have living memory of his father’s time in office. I never voted for him as I was too busy voting for the now defunct NDP. Pierre Eliot Trudeau was a force to be reckoned with. His intelligence and charisma attracted political talent and he presided over talented and effective cabinets.
Too many Canadians made the brash assumption that to vote for the son was to vote for a re-incarnation of the father. Life and genes simply don’t always work that way. In spite of numerous cautionaries by prominent journalists the son was granted the keys to the kingdom.
During the leadership race one prominent well-qualified candidate withdrew from the race as it was so obvious it was no more than a name game and he was wasting his time and money.
In the illustration above when the sophomoric son speaks of core identities, and the lack there of, he speaks for himself. His father on the other had a very strong and convincing identity and he projected this on the way he governed. He was a proponent of a strong federalist unified Canada. Federalism is long gone from our political dialogue as it implies a strong and vigorous nation state which we are no longer.
Since the time of the father, prime ministers Mulroney, Harper and Trudeau Jr. have been instrumental in collapsing the core identities of the country. Where Mulroney and Harper were proactive wrecking balls the son is the agent of passive indifference and the very antithesis of his father.
Core identities exist only where they are maintained, coveted and unassailable. Over the last 50 years Canada and so many other Western countries have walked away from core identities and values leaving us in the crisis we are now living. Quite simply, crises arise where value systems collapse. War is the ultimate collapse of value systems and a retreat into barbarism.
Where leaders fail to lead they facilitate collapse. The conflict in Ukraine is a direct consequence of failed leadership by Western leaders. Where NATO arrogantly refused to negotiate security guarantees for Russia, it chose war which it wanted to serve its hegemonic agenda of crushing both Russia and China, revealing once and for all NATO is the agent of endless wars, conquest and chaos.
When NATO member states indifferently approved the war they confirmed themselves as puppets to an imperialist power and adherents of the neoliberal ideology, both of which are ideologies proven ruinous to Western Civilization.
The instruments of erasure
Post nationalism is but a euphemism used by the likes of George Soros as he is the king of demolishing nation states and staging color revolutions around the world. Like, the World Economic Forum, he recruits and indoctrinates gullible young politicians to carry out his neoliberal/feudal agenda turning the world into a faceless monoculture.
Post nationalism is much more than nations losing their national identities in relation to others it is the out right erasure of nation states and the instruments range from imperialism, neo-colonialism, neoliberalism to out right war— as we are seeing now. Western powers are determined to erase Russia as its very existence undermines their global fascist agenda, as does the existence of China.
Eighty years later the world is fighting another war against fascism on a truly global scale and the collective West finds itself on the wrong side of history as it fell in love with war when peace was the obvious essential. When Kennedy was assassinated so was the American Dream.
The wars being fought now marks the down turn of post national statism. The emerging multipolar world is giving new life and hope to nations that have had their sovereignties and core identities stolen by imperialism in its insatiable creed.
Countries are now lined up to join BRICS as a vehicle for greater wealth, opportunity and self-determination. It is very significant Mexico has just joined BRICS as it is a direct challenge to the Munroe Doctrine of 1823.
The monumental irony of the present crisis is that if all those years ago America had chosen to practice “soft power”, lifting all boats, as the East practices now, it would be a very different world today. The unipolar world is an abomination, where the multipolar world is the the natural state where humankind can prove our ability to co-exist with decency in relative peace.
A placeholder surrogate
Trudeau’s dismal failure as national leader must also be be seen in the international context as puppet placeholder for the empire.
His allegiance to the empire is extraordinary as he is putty in its hands, powder monkey to its wars, cat’s paw for its foreign policy and window dressing at NATO, G7 and G20 gatherings. It was the NATO puppet states who facilitated the imperialist sacrifice of Ukraine and sacrificed their own countries to the economic blow back of the war. It was Donald Trump who walked out of a G7 meeting when he realized the six others were puppets with not much to say. At a G20 conference Trudeau was openly rebuked by Chinese President Xi Ping for discussing a private conversation with the media they had just had.
A visit with the Pope did not go well as he saw fit to lecture him on human rights, just as he recently alienated the present leader of Italy by lecturing her on human rights. A speech to the German Bundestag drew open hostility from its members as they found his speech sophomoric and condescending.
His eminence has just been to Ukraine where he delivers more money, more arms and boasts about the eight billion dollars already wasted. Meanwhile the folks at home, both, Canadian and American, are slaves to the empire’s wars, as inflation with higher and higher prices are just one of the many costs of war. As NATO claims the urgency of destroying Russia, it is destroying itself. It is reported the Russian economy has boomed as a result of this conflict as it just re-directed its economy eastward and had previously invested in sanction proofing its economy.
Canadians have every right to be hostile to this government. It has shamed us both domestically and internationally.
The PM is the personification of the post national state. Eight years later it is post, post national as in completely colonized where our core identities have been stripped away. He is more governor or proconsul than national leader. To be a nation is to practice statecraft. His father practiced it, the son is oblivious to it, as have so many Western governments walked away from their sovereignty and essential democracy. The chaos we are seeing now is the result of democracy and civility being crushed out of existence.
As the media is corporate owned and corporate values are now dominant over democratic values the MSM has been instrumental in covering for Trudeau. The media is now subsidized by the government and their content is shaved accordingly.
Trudeau has out right refused to undertake meaningful democratic reform as any re-democratization would offend the vested interests controlling him.
In his book A Fair Country: Telling Truths About Canada, John Ralston Saul brilliantly defines the colonial mindset Canada’s political elites suffer. Until we address this reality we are politically and democratically paralyzed. At the same time the colonization may be so replete and the necessary political will so lacking any choice is gone.
With the tectonic changes the world is going through all countries have hard decisions to make for themselves and colonized countries are among the most vulnerable.
Canada must face the stark reality colonized countries sink into a dysfunctional atrophy losing the governing skills and the thrust of intention a sovereign independent country requires. As in professional sports you become a whistle-stop farm team, not really in the game.
When Trudeau came to power in 2015, he campaigned on the theme of “Real Change” and claimed to have progressive credentials. Neither appeared.
As the world is moving rapidly toward multipolarism, he is one of too many Western leaders out of step with the times.
