The big reason I categorize what is happening now as WW lll is the issues are global, the revolutionary changes are global, and the consequences are global. It is a time of war and transition and we can only hope the transition happens with peace prevailing over greater wars.

We are moving from a dysfunctional and dangerous unipolar world to a mulitipolar/ muliticivilizational world. The West led by Washington is going to be the big loser as it has demonstrated just how dangerous and despotic a unipolar world is when they have the franchise. Where they could have exercised magnanimity, built trust and prosperity for all they have shown contempt for the rest of the world with their perpetual warfare, naked belligerence and bully boy imperialism.

The crisis in Israel and Gaza is especially alarming as we have two wars in quick succession where the West has opted for war over diplomacy. The war in Ukraine came about because NATO refused a diplomatic settlement, forcing Russia to make a legitimate intervention. Now we have another and war threatening to spiral out of control and both Washington and Israel are escalating it, deliberately blocking a diplomatic ceasefire as they commit genocide against Palestinians.

This crisis is yet another confirmation of Western intransigence and its unwillingness to build a more peaceful and viable world order essential to planetary survival.

As stated WW lll has many dimensions and one of the most critical is the re-emergence of fascism in the West. When NATO provoked the war in Ukraine it was a momentous blunder as it has lost that war. It revealed the treachery and agenda of the West for all the world to see (blowing up Nord Stream pipelines was never a smart idea and an act of terrorism). Countries around the globe are turning away as the sinister under belly of the West exposes itself.

Hitler was defeated, but his fascist ideology has mutated and festered in the shadows to where it is now reasserting itself as a major issue. Where the capitalist ideology is present there is always a fascist presence as corporatism is an authoritarian hierarchy ruled by power, money and absolutism. Left unaccountable capitalism easily becomes fascist as it has done in the West.

Corporatism is fascism and the powers that rule the West are both corporatist, and crypto-fascist. So called social democracy has become inverted totalitarianism where democracy serves as window dressing for dark agendas.

We are at a time in world history where if fascism prevails there will be no world as fascism is by definition sociopathic and environmentally toxic. It is a defeatist and terminal ideology where change and adaptation are frozen in time. Just as we are seeing now our systems, our institutions, especially democratic, are failing us when we need them most.

Duplicity is one of the hallmarks in government in these times; whether it come in the form of outright lies or double standards. As Hillary Clinton pointed out every politicians must have two stances on issues; one private and one public.

As we see in the quotes below powerful political and economic elites have long dreamt of a feudalistic global fascist world. They were giddy with joy when the USSR collapsed as its existence was the major blockage to global hegemony. Now a resurgent Russia, China and Asia are the targets as their existence blocks the dream. They do not want war, but endless war is the only language the hegemons speak:

World War ll was the first corporatist war where corporations supported and financed both sides. They were hoping Hitler and Russia would beat each other to a pulp and they would walk away with the spoils. Russia prevailed, became the USSR and the nemesis of the West thwarting the globalist agenda. Europe was colonized under the auspices of NATO and, later the EU.

When the USSR collapsed in 199l the globalists were ecstatic as this was their second opportunity to capture the Russian heartland but against they failed. As John Mearsheimer has pointed out alienating Russia when they could have made it an ally was a momentous strategic blunder. Where Putin sought detente with West he was snubbed and alienated. What the US feared for 50 years happened, Russia and China formed an alliance to defend against Western belligerence and a renewed arms race was under way.

The reason Putin is so thoroughly vilified in the West is that he has been a strong nationalist leader who has rebuilt his country to what it is today and the West can’t swallow the bitter pill of failing to conquer the global heartland a second time.

Fascism is a malignancy that lurks below the horizon of every society waiting for its agency, born of desperate times by desperate men. As the globalists lose their dream for a second time the fascism becomes more virulent, the lies more blatant and the propaganda more smothering, and the wholesale slaughter of civil liberties and freedom of speech are left bleeding in the streets.

Are we willing to see our consciousness destroyed? Are we going to “reoccupy” our freedoms and democracy so insidiously suppressed and stolen?
