The Infantilization of Western politics
How Western Civilization is destroying itself. Politicians wear the diapers and oligarchic elites and war mongers wear the pants. Money trumps morality every time.
Not only have populations been infantilized by our politicians; politicians have been infantilized by the powerful vested interests that control them. Who then controls their war mongering controllers?
Never has there been a deeper and more threatening crisis in so called Western Civilization(WC) than there is today. Most people aren’t even aware of how threatening it is as there are so many ways and means of insulating ourselves from the realities we face. There are also too many ways and means to manage perceptions and keep the truth hidden.
Our infantile leaders are in the very delusional habit of projecting their own crimes and hypocrisy on other cultures. We randomly vilify other cultures to justify unwarranted military, economic, cultural aggression against them.
WC takes a fundamentally racist and bigoted view of the rest of the world community. Some how there is the assumption in elite circles the West’s manifest destiny is to rule the world and all other countries must subordinate themselves to this imbecilic doctrine. This is an infantile assumption that deserves to be laughed out of existence.
Further more, the present belligerence of the West directed at the rest of the world disqualifies WC from ever dominating the world. It has, so to speak, burned its bridges too many times over and the only solution is a multipolar world to act as a countervail to the West and any other power block that may choose to threaten world peace and security.
America has been at war against the world since the time of the Dulles brothers and their not so secret war on the world.
The afflictions of Western Civilization are many, so complex they won’t be resolved any time soon, especially so when the death knell of WC by our own hands is ringing loudly and few hear it. Denialism reigns supreme in the halls of power, shopping malls, and places of so-called higher learning.
To put it bluntly WC is a victim of its own greed, stupidity, and juvenile arrogance. It is so delusional as to think projecting war on the rest of the world is going to save them. All war does is accelerate collapse when we should be reversing course and building better futures as are the Chinese and Russians. They know well that war is social suicide; especially in a world so complex, so highly integrated and over populated.
Where there is no contrition there is no salvation.
The Mad Hatters of the West have divorced themselves from common sense in favor of a whole array of ruinous ideologies as the tools of their trade, all entirely sociopathic.
They have a full pay load of social fragmentation bombs they drop indiscriminately where ever and then ever they want. The bombs being dropped in Ukraine are fire crackers compared to the ideological bombs with which we are being carpet bombed.
Systemic breakdown caused by Neoliberalism
French philosopher Simone Weil once wrote a book calling for the abolition of political parties. Decades later she has her wish come true as they now destroy them selves in accordance with Neoliberal dictates.
Neoliberalism has been with us for the last 50 years. Its roots go deeper as the ascent of corporate power was becoming more and more pervasive. WW ll was the first corporate war where Western corporations played both sides financing and equipping the Third Reich as well as the Allied cause. There were Western ideologues hoping Russia and Nazi Germany would beat each other to a pulp and the triumphant West (the Atlanticists)would then march in and take over both Russia and Germany. Russia prevailed over Germany at great cost in life and limb and the West’s war on Russia (and China) is still being fought today.
Russia and China occupy the “heartland” of planet earth and the delusional West is willing to shed any amount of blood and destruction to win it; in a demented quest that is utterly Pyrrhic and ruinous to the whole planet.
As corporations became more powerful democratic governments became more weaker and more pliable. With the arrival of Neoliberalism corporations and financial elites rule over governments and politicians are bought and paid for. In other words governments are stripped of their sovereign right and obligation to govern, as they become zombified indentured servants to higher powers and vested interests. Their function is to keep the sheeple in the fold, follow orders and maintain the pretense of democracy where little or none actually exist. Politicians become the Mad Hatters and haters of the West.
We now have what American political philosopher Sheldon Wolin predicted inverted totalitarianism— where we have the trappings of democracy within totalitarian states.

American journalist Diana Johnstone noted that American presidents arrive in office as guest CEO’s presiding over boards of directors/ cabinets where the decisions have already been made. Anybody who has read up on Canadian and American politics knows there are powerful vested interests, lobbyists and ideologues who know the system well and are well prepared to prey on inbound politicians usurping their integrity and agenda.
To read American history of the last 75 years is to read how elected presidents and politicians arrive in office and have their agenda set by all-powerful vested interests and unelected ideologues who are totally adept at manipulating politicians and the system in their favor; examples are the Dulles brothers, John Foster and Allan, Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz. Politicians become indentured servants to the empire while the US population is enslaved to the empire’s wars.
Political Interference
Politicians careers should not be measured by how long they are around, but how long they are credible. It could be argued in this day and age their career is over on the day they arrive in office. The reason being they are not working for the people who elected them but the vested interests who own and control their souls.
There was a time in Canada where ministers of the Crown would actually resign their portfolios on matters of principle and policy they where they were in profound disagreement. Today Canada’s politics is all about perks, pensions and staying in office as long as possible to receive said benefits and perform as powder monkeys to the empire’s wars.
Needless to say one of the most frequent accusations against politics is that big money controls it. When Hillary Clinton ran for president she spent most of her time pitching Wall Street because she knew that without its blessing she was going no where— and along came Donald Trump!
When societies live by war and propaganda their demise is accelerated with absolute certainty.
The Atrocities of the infantile Mad Hatters of the West
I despise the term “proxy war” as it is the most contemptible type of war where a super power uses a smaller country as its mercenary to wage war on another. The proxy is the one that takes the sacrifice. This is just what is happening in Ukraine where a puppet president is presiding over the destruction of his own country. How any person can be lured into such a diabolical role is beyond my comprehension.
The claim Russia is responsible for this war is now proven utterly fatuous. It was forced to rise to the defense of its territorial integrity after decades of treachery with NATO stealing up to its borders using Ukraine as its Trojan horse. (Watch the video below)
Similarly Iraq’s Saddam Hussein saw his country destroyed in 2003 by the US after Iraq was used by the US as a proxy for an 8 year war (1980-1988). Already there are indications Zelensky, the traitor of Ukraine is going to be dumped for a war he has lost.
Never would the US engage Russia directly as it would result in the loss of thousands of US and NATO troops which would be politically unacceptable. It is some how acceptable though to sacrifice Ukraine on the altar of another imperialist war.
NATO spent 8 years from the time of the 2014 coup to the start of the war 2022 arming and preparing Ukraine for war against Russia. Once the war began Zelensky was constantly begging for more money and more weaponry too late in the game.
Historians are going to ask if this was another NATO miscalculation where Zelensky was abandoned once it became clear the war is lost?
NATO took a reckless gamble that Putin would not respond to their endless belligerence; but he was forced to and Ukraine paid the price. Again, NATO has a lot of blood on its hands.
All this sacrifice is for no worthy cause other than the profiteering where politicians wear the diapers and oligarchs and war mongers call the shots and pocket the profits.
Money trumps morality every time.
War infantilizes everybody, most prominently the morally bankrupt politicians who start them.
