Sustaining hatred on the toll road to Hell
War is sustained by hatred and the price we pay is horrendous
“The irresponsible recklessness of the White House and Secretary of State Blinken should frighten every American and result in turning every Democrat out of office in November and in the termination of the presstitute media, a collection of liars extremely dangerous to the continued existence of life on earth.
But watch insouciant Americans vote for Democrats who have led the world to the brink of nuclear war. Watch them continue to absorb CNN lies, read the NY Times, and listen to NPR. People removed from reality cannot survive.—Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
I have said for a very long time that if we realized the price we pay to sustain war and all that goes with it they would be banished long ago, especially in these times where history provides us with volumes of information on what wars do to us and our societies. It is deeply alarming that in our times the magnitude and frequency of wars only increases, at a time when the world community must as a matter of survival be focused on sustainability and the existential challenges we face.
The fact that we are in such a threatening global crisis at this point in our history is a stunning indictment of Western Civilization. The depth of our failure is unconscionable in not pursuing progressive change and social equilibrium sooner. We have adopted too many toxic ideologies, abandoned common sense, and allowed the agents of hatred to run loose unchallenged.
To get through tough times we need legitimate reference points, benchmarks of objective truth to see us through. One of the most important is a free press that speaks with honesty and integrity. This has been taken from us as the presstitutes are no more than apprentices working for the war mongers and the psychotic Philistines who prevail over all in the decadent West.
George Orwell, one of the most quoted and read authors of all time saw the future with stunning prescience. Living the writers life in full, with personal sacrifice, and an unerring eye for the truth he saw the future. In his time he saw how objective truth was fading and how lies pass into history. This was true in his time, and many times over in ours. The Yahoo leadership of the West has now declared war on objective truth as they try to lie their way out a calamity of their own making, of their own negligence and their delusional ambition of running the world when they are the least qualified and most incompetent.
When endless lies are allowed to pass into history the future becomes even more distorted and debased than the present. The present is an accumulation of lies going back for decades depending on where we want to draw the line on culpability and criminality.
Those who are determined to destroy objective truth live only in the present with a contempt for the past and the future. They slander history to sustain the despotism and kill the future for generations to come. This is why they burn books, jail dissenters, and fragment our societies. They shatter the continuum of human existence with wars and degeneracy for their fifteen minutes of infamy.
As it turns out the year 2000 was more than a nominal change from one century to another. It delineated the rise of an empire and then its decline. The decline is abrupt as we live in a time when change is rapid and traumatic, a glut of events assaulting our consciousness and issues baffling in their complexity and impacts.
We too easily accept what we see as the norm when it is only a pin prick in time robbed of the context of history, where objective truths are marginalized, and false prophets prevail.
We are in awe of the depth of the devastation we witness, but this is a symptom of a despotism being allowed to persist for too long, becoming so deeply embedded in our societies there appears no way out. There is, but what has been done can only be rectified by heroic and determined efforts over the long term.
A presidential election is much ado about nothing as both candidates are hostages to an utterly corrupt status quo desperate to control events in its favor where the real power, the invisible hand of endless tyranny and chaos prevails.
Whether it is a president or a prime minister they are the sum total of their minders. Leaders are easily “programmable” by wily lobbyists, powerful bureaucrats and pugnacious ideologues. If a leader is really determined to bring in progressive change they must appoint their cabinets accordingly. Obama, whatever his true intentions, was doomed to fail as he surrounded himself with people like Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State where she was left to grind her same old axes, further tarnish her presidential credentials, and then expect to become president! The corruptions of the Democrats were an open invitation to a Trump presidency, allowing Biden to run is but another invitation to another term for Trump. The Democrats are now impaled on their own petard.
The politics of the West are now permeated with sustained hatred with Washington as the new Rome. It radiates outwards in every direction, with contempt for electorates, political opponents and directed at the world with endless war. It is hatred steeped in puerile spite, as the spoiler— where the empire cannot have its way nobody else will, even as a more legitimate and just multipolar world is inevitably emerging.
In the beleaguered West political parties are in full collapse, so-called leaders are ex-officio, and change will only come about when truly progressive coalitions are birthed and willing to deal with the objective truths of our times.
Hatred, is the commodity of empires. For them to exist we must be taught to hate and vilify others. The Empire claims to be the centrum of virtue and righteousness when it is no more than a masked terrorist. Now the mask has fallen away and the cancered viscera of the empire is there for all to see.
Empires play the very old game of divide and conquer and now the West has paid the price, fragmented, conquered and divided from within as the real enemy is within the gates dividing us as we fall, when uniting and standing tall is our only option. Hate, violence and unrepentant greed are the “gold standard“of empires.
Hatred really is the toll road to hell and the toll has been paid too many times in too many ways.
The hell is what they create for the dispossessed outside the walls with the army backing the settler and maintaining the shifting border for consumer supplying landscapes wrecked by bible beef and bullets. It’s a shifting standard at one time not including, then including, then again not including the middle class and eventually as in Haiti, and Gaza, the safe zone is meant to cross the kill zone arbitrarily and without consequences. The UN needs to be the Ministry Of the Future in a multilateral framework as is presently being discussed.
I wish we had a Jill Stein in Canada we could vote for.
We can't afford the hatred and destruction the west is courting and spewing out to the public. We need solidarity, and we need to change this rotten system.
Thanks for posting, Robert.
