“I have already spoken to three US Presidents. They come and go, but politics stay the same at all times. Do you know why? Because of the powerful bureaucracy. When a person is elected, they may have some ideas. Then people with briefcases arrive, well dressed, wearing dark suits, just like mine, except for the red tie, since they wear black or dark blue ones. These people start explaining how things are done. And instantly, everything changes. This is what happens with every administration.”—Vladimir Putin interview, 2017 Le Figaro
Since the collapse of the USSR in1990 the US empire has pursued the goal of global hegemonic dominance. The two great impediments to achieving this are Russia and China. China is now establishing a formidable global dominance economically. The two countries have now formed a defense alliance that is becoming an emerging new multipolar world order centered on BRICS as a global trade organization and a direct challenge to the American dollar and its declining economic global hegemony.
After the propaganda was laid to rest in 2022 it was just another imperialist war. It is a matter of historical record that this war was started by neoconservatives embedded in the US State Department. Biden, Blinken and Sullivan were their agents conducting the war. Zelensky was their puppet, as he so naively and stupidly stepped into the cauldron of an an American proxy war where puppets are known to have very dimmed futures-which is where he is today.
Biden was so kind, on a trip to Poland in 2023, to confirm this was a war of regime change and the crushing of the Russian state as a first stage to moving on to a subsequent war against China. Through various miscalculations the war has been lost, Ukraine is in ruins and Russia has been empowered leaving the perpetrators of the war stunned by what they saw as an easy victory.
Imagine for a moment that China does not exist and Russia is America’s primary nemesis standing in the way of America’s pursuit of unitary global hegemony. China is the primary target as it is the stronger partner with four times the population of the USA and nine times the population of Russia.
We can be sure that if Russia alone was the primary target— and the deciding factor— in America’s hegemonic ambitions the Ukrainian war would continue to the bitter end, and quite possibly nuclear.
NATO was hoping for a quick victory in a preliminary war. Now Ukraine must be shut down for full focus on China.
I am an internationalist opposed to any one country dominating the world, regardless of which country it is. A unipolar world is a recipe for global fascism. When a singular world power prevails over all others, it renders the world static rather than dynamic. Options must remain open. There must be a free flow of ideas and innovations, along with an inviolable international rule of law. All cultures should have the right to exist with their own self-determination. We can no longer afford to see the world in terms of winner-take-all and the immature jousting of great powers for supremacy. We are now in the era when planetary survival is the ultimate consideration and we all have a roll to play proving we are worthy custodians of planet Earth.— author
Reckless policy reversals…
When a warfare state and empire suddenly becomes a peacemaker there are too many incongruities, especially when it is making peace only to escalate another greater war.
Frequent and dramatic policy reversals can undermine stability, continuity, and public trust, especially if they're seen as driven more by war and ideology than by practical needs or evidence. It can also disrupt international relations and investment, as partners and stakeholders prefer predictability.
The present Trump administration tries to pass off the 250 billion dollars spent on the war as a “contribution” to Ukraine’s defense, when as a matter of historical record it was another of the empire’s proxy wars. He is now attempting to colonize Ukraine’s resources to recover those funds.
Does this also mean he is going to try and recover the 2.3 trillion spent in Afghanistan over a 20 year occupation?
During the war the Western propaganda media championed Zelensky as the new “Churchill”, now he is the “bum” thrown out of the Oval Office.
Biden’s puppet, becomes Trump’s scapegoat. Zelensky’s fate was predictable from the outset. Puppets in service to empires is never a good career choice.
Regardless how one feels about Zelensky...his treatment in front of TV cameras to be seen the entire world over is absolutely SHAMEFUL!!! Zelensky still is the head of a country and due respect should be given. Trump always talks about 'respect'...well? Of course, a president that calls another nation a 'shit hole'...it takes one to know one.
It's up to Trump and his minions to label Mr. Z their former puppet. But that would entail owning up to their crimes. So Z is portrayed as a hero.
