Our Bamboozled Existence

Bamboozling is the cruddy craft of politicians where the truth is whatever serves their purpose.

We must all be steadfast warriors of the West, each in our own way. We are all at war, and we must weaponize our consciousness and intrepid resolve. Peace is for the mindful, for those who know who they are and what they stand for. Our lives, our experiences, and our times must be authentic.

Chaos is a strategy of our times and bamboozlement is its agent.

We have just experienced one disastrous US presidency. A new one is emerging with a very bold and radical face on it. We live in a time when bad politics and bad policies have global consequences.

From where I sit great caution, wisdom and vigilance are key to creating the better futures we all want to see, especially the legacy we leave future generations. Existing power elites in the West will cut off their noses to spite their faces. They are totally captive to their self-interests with little regard for consequences.

Those who claim to be conservatives have been sponsoring a sham show for too long and too often. “Conservatism” isn’t about raping the present. It is about measured progressive transition from one generation to another in a responsible and humane manner. The great liberal tradition of the West has collapsed into utter disgrace sponsoring unnecessary wars and a heinous genocide.

Trump’s presidency is just finishing its first month. It has been tumultuous as he has delivered a rolling “shock doctrine”. It leaves too many in stunned silence as it is so wide ranging so helter skelter and so bellicose. Where it inspires hope it also inspires fear and apprehension.

We must also bear in mind that much of his agenda is tainted with revenge against a corrupt political machine that tried to ruin and imprison him. His ire is justified but it cannot be left to become government policy— revenge is best served as a cold plate.

There is a tendency after elections to lapse back into our smug complacency. This does not serve us well as the West faces many challenges for renewal and resetting our priorities. None of which are going to be quick fixes. How to govern our affairs more effectively and with greater integrity is an immediate one.

Trump is still sifting through the wreckage of the Biden regime and will be for some time. Where he is going with his presidency is still far from clear. Until there is greater clarity and real accomplishment, his feet must be held to the fire. Need we be reminded after all is said and done eternal vigilance really is the price of freedom?

Trump is a five star bamboozler. He claims Zelensky is a “dictator” who “stole” American money. Far from it the the Ukraine was an imperialist war instigated by unelected neoconservatives resident in the State Department— Blinken, Sullivan and Victoria Nuland. Biden was their feeble-minded dupe and puppet master to Zelensky.

It was reported long ago that Zelensky was recruited by a shady Ukrainian oligarch with a few million dollars paid to run for president in a 2019 election. He ran on a peace platform and suddenly owned several mansions, one of which was later expropriated by the Russians. He was billed as the “new Churchill” in the jingoist propagandist Western media.

Now there are cries of foul play over billions of dollars “MISSING”. It was also reported long ago that much of this money never left the US and was allocated directly to domestic arms manufacturers.

Ukraine is widely considered one of the most corrupt countries in the world. It has also been reported Ukraine officials were very busy stuffing their pockets with American cash. It has been estimated about 30% of arms arriving in Ukraine were sold off on the black market.

It doesn’t seem to matter that Joe Biden went to Poland in 2023 and stated publicly the war was intended to force regime change in Moscow and destroy the Russian economy. Russia is heavily sanctioned by the the US, even so the economy is thriving.

Zelensky was less than wise to take the job as Ukraine president as Biden’s puppet and is now dumped by Trump. A wiser Zelensky should have checked the history books as US puppets suffer attenuated terms and he is no exception. He now retires to one of his bought and paid for mansions, rest his tortured soul.
