Oops, I have to agree with a Russian Ambassador

The golden nuggets of truth are hard to find these days. When we do find them we have to snap them up and become a believer as they are the bricks for building a better future. As a self-ordained internationalist I no longer party with nations who court endless war and hold the world hostage to their delusional behaviors. Closer to home I refuse to suffer the vacuous pomp and pretense of my wayward homeland shirking its responsibility to be part of building a better future for all. It is quite content to be powder monkey to the empire.

The Collective West is suffering an acute case of self-serving parochialism stuck in the 20th century and refusing to move on to better futures. This tardiness might be forgiven but to go to war over it is the ultimate crime at a time in history the world can least afford war.

Warfare is a terminal ideology, like a cancer that sucks the life blood of societies literally, institutionally and constitutionally . The psychic rubble of war smolders in our societies for generations thereafter as too many vestiges of WW ll are still with us 75 years later. The ideology of perpetual war is a societal death wish. The ideology of neoliberalism is another. The collective West has hosted too many ruinous ideologies which are going to leave us isolated and an international pariah.

We can’t quite get our head around the fact that we only represent 12% of the world’s population and no amount of bloodshed, interventions or denialism is going to change that equation.

In the dissipated Collective West to hold a more objective world view is to be a traitor.

We like to think we in the West are masters of the universe when in fact we are rapidly demoting ourselves to being peripheral to a dynamic emerging new world order.

In an interview with RT Dennis Alipov, Russian ambassador to India makes some candid observations concerning Western diplomacy:

“In India, the Russian Embassy operates in a completely different environment as compared to Europe and the US, which chose to almost completely freeze the relationship with Russia. In my view, it reflects the immaturity of Western diplomacy, which is incapable of dialogue and compromise at the time of crisis, which it itself created – as is evident from the deceitful subversion of the negotiation process over Ukraine”.

While Washington has spent the last fifty years waging wars and chasing absolute power over the world Eurasia has been building strong economies and prosperity for all. Russia and China do not want war. They want nothing to do with a failing West whose house of cards is collapsing and riddled with corruption.

While the West in all its “ immaturity” and denialism refuses reform, it accelerates its decline. It talks about “building a better America” but there is no impetus to do so; especially when it is so deeply corrupted and controlled by self-serving elites driving the nation into the ground.

As America continues on its present course it is not hard to see where it will be 10 years from now — a long suffering boon dock republic regretting its sordid past. History passes harsh judgement on former empires. The sad fate of Great Britain stares us down as a former global empire, for America there will be no exception.
