We are seeing how too much money and power in the wrong hands, and in the wrong places, makes leaders terminally stupid and morally bankrupt. They become neoliberal zombies.
When British prime minister Margaret Thatcher stated in 1992, “there is no such thing as society” we should have been paying more attention. It was a declaration of war, not only a ballistic escalation of the class war but a war to destroy societies as we know them. A few decades later we see the end result, social chaos, destroyed democracies and endless war. Where institutions, democracy,civility and value systems collapse the walls come tumbling down.
When I first started blogging I soon learned that as societies we steadfastly refuse to discuss the issues we should addressing and fall into behaviors of denialism and social repression. Ruinous ideologies are imposed on us that facilitate the greed and power mongering of the few at the expense of the majority. We are now living in the ruins of neoliberalism and most of us can’t even name the ideology killing our societies.
If we think the Chinese, Russian and Asians want war we are sadly mistaken. They know us better than we know ourselves and are they are determined not be victims of Western self-immolation. They are pursuing peace, prosperity and progress on their own terms which is just what we should be doing. Instead our leaders are stuck in the 20th century with failed delusions of grandeur.
The war on societies—class war on steroids— can also be seen as war on nation states. The globalists are determined to erase nation states as it suits their tyranny to put us all in one big kettle, like frogs on a slow boil where we don’t even know we are being boiled alive.
Things never just happen, they are made to happen and neoliberalism is the driving force behind the the war in Ukraine and the Genocide in Gaza. Both these atrocities are neoliberalism in action where elites act with impunity as they have done for decades.
It is interesting to note Ukraine resources have been sold off to Western corporate investors, subject to the wars outcome which is now final. There is every likelihood Russia will maintain the remaindered Ukraine as a demilitarized zone which it was petitioning for before the war started and NATO arrogantly refused its petition.
It has also just been reported on REDACTED Ukraine President Zelensky has purchased two mansions for 75 million US, for his early retirement at the expense of US taxpayers. Little wonder he lost the war! Too few people realize the Ukrainian government is wholly financed by the US and the money is gobbled up with no auditing.
The motive for both atrocities is that the woebegone empire wants to conquer Russia and China. The empire and Israel act as one because both want dominance in the Middle East for which the US has been waging wars for decades.
Well established impunity drives Western elites, so too does desperation as Russia and Asia are emergent and power is shifting rapidly away from the West with only 13 % of the world’s population. Economic indicators flashing red alert are totally ignored.
In the aftermath of WW ll US diplomat George Keenan warned his government the rise of Asia was both inevitable and unstoppable by shear weight of numbers as it speaks for 60% of the world’s population. Asia now accounts for 70% of the world’s economic productivity. Washington’s response to Keenan’s warning was to declare war on the world and has been fighting it ever since with a genocidal ferocity.

This assessment has never become part of our political dialogue, for obvious reasons, it must be a stealth ideology relegated to the shadow world and rarely mentioned in the traitorous Mainstream Media. Most politicians are cult followers of it, pretending it doesn’t exist, and indifferent to the fact it has destroyed their personal political as well as that of their party. When French Philosopher Simone Weil observed 75 years ago that all political parties ultimately become totalitarian, she was right, and neoliberalism greases the skids.
Where Western populations are the victims of neoliberalism our elites are completely zombified—the walking dead. They are soulless automatons doing the devil’s work devoid of any moral scruples.
Neoliberal writers and scholars have pronounced neoliberalism dead as an economic ideology, even so its values and corruptions continue to savage our cultures from top to bottom. It is an out of control hydra headed monster. Where we suffer the consequences our zombified leaders are totally captive to it. For 50 years neoliberalism has become deeply entrenched in Western Civilization. They have become so totally indoctrinated into the power, privilege, and impunity they have become the neoliberal zombies; devoid of humanist values and contemptuous of the countries and populations they are charged with governing.
No, this not a Hollywood movie the march of the neoliberal zombies is upon us, they are suffering self-inflicted lobotomies. Neoliberalism is the betrayal and subjugation of Western societies by political and economic elites. They have developed a self-serving aristocracy that divorces them from the larger society where they are accountable to no one and act with outrageous impunity and no concern for ultimate consequences. They cannibalize their own cultures for endless power, endless wealth and endless wear.
The Neoliberal Zombies are doubly dangerous as they are the shabby custodians of a dying empire- as empires inevitability do. The Neoliberal Zombies do not have the grace or understanding that change is always upon us. They see waging war as their inalienable right, when war is for losers as history has shown time after time. They claim to be “exceptional” but for them their arrogant stupidity is their only exceptional quality. War is the death knell of empires and the psychotic zombies who create them.
We are told there is no alternative to neoliberalism but this is the blind leading the blind. A return to genuine democracy, civility and human dignity are the road to redemption, and it gets longer and rockier with each passing day.
