NATO's Stoltenberg Betrays all of Europe
Only when we learn history is prophecy and accept we are recidivist will there be peace and security for all.
History has many interesting parallels and Secretary General Jens StoltenBerg has a famous doppelganger in Norwegian country man by the name of Count Von Quisling. Quisling was the leader of the Norwegian fascists during World war ll. He faced a firing squad at the end of the war.
Now Stoltenberg has committed an even more devastating betrayal of all of Europe as NATO’s token European puppet leader acting on behalf of his Washington masters. Not only has Stoltenberg been a key figure provoking the proxy war against Russia he has overseen it escalate to where open warfare against Russia and NATO looms large. The potential for it to go nuclear is very real as NATO is attacking targets within Russia. Having lost the localized war contained within Ukraine; it is now going after bigger fish. In doing so all of Europe is at risk as Russia can now legitimately target NATO installations in Western Europe.
NATO is so fool hardy as to think it can be the esculatory aggressor with impunity. It is playing an outrageously dangerous game of brinkmanship forcing Russia to retaliate. Putin has already stated Russia will go nuclear if its sovereign territory is threatened. It is bad enough that in spite of repeated warnings and a broke a promise NATO pushed right to Russia’s borders with no regard for its legitimate right to its sphere of influence.
Diplomacy is an instrument and expression of geopolitical maturity the Western war mongers are incapable of practicing.
Both Russia and China have shown great forbearance in the face of NATO’s persistent aggressions as neither want war and are focused on peace, prosperity and diplomatic settlements. NATO refuses diplomacy and negotiated settlements because it is empire building and it obstinately insists on its “winner take all” dementia, completely anathema to world peace and security. Diplomacy, international cooperation and detente are the only road back to geopolitical harmony and a stable equilibrium..
Not only is NATO’s arrogant belligerence unacceptable, so too is its wanton disregard and undermining international and the chaos that ensues.
In too many ways what is happening now is a sequel to WW ll with the consequences not just continental but global.
Where NATO was allegedly conceived as a defense alliance against the threat of invasion from the USSR( no longer in existence since 1989), it has now mutated into the aggressor. Not just Ukraine is being used as the proxy but now all of Western Europe is in the front lines as a proxy for the empire and potentially subject to the same destruction as Ukraine
The question has to be asked when will Europe wake up to the fact how recklessly its imperial master is threatening its very existence? Its economy has been ruined by the Ukraine war and now the threat is compounded by a direct confrontation with Russia. Europe is impervious to the reality empires will betray friend and foe alike. Megalomania is immune to human considerations. They have proven time and again, their self-interest prevails over all others— the very essence of empire building.
As a student Stoltenberg was an anti-NATO activist. Vladimir Putin has commented that when Stoltenberg was prime minister of Norway the two countries had good relations.

I agree that the West seems unable to put the brakes on and is focused solely on escalation. They maintain plausible deniability by claiming, “we’re not party to this conflict,” which puts them in a more favorable position. They act with impunity because, so far, they’ve gotten away with it.
Forcing Russia to go nuclear is precisely what NATO wants. There’s no reason to believe Russia would use strategic nuclear weapons and target NATO countries; it would most likely use a tactical nuke in Ukraine to draw a red line. I recently wrote a piece on how the West may be trying to engineer conditions for Russia to escalate in a way that the West could capitalize on politically and perhaps use as a face-saving off-ramp.
