“What is a ‘dirty bomb’?
It consists of radioactive material like Uranium. When its explosive detonates, its radioactive material scatters through the air. The difference between a nuclear bomb and a dirty bomb is that in the case of a nuclear bomb, highly refined radioactive material is required. On the other hand, a dirty bomb does not need to contain highly advanced radioactive material. Because of this difference, dirty bombs are much cheaper and early to make than nuclear bombs.
Dirty bombs are also known as weapons of mass destruction. According to the Federation of American Scientists, if a dirty bomb containing 9g of cobalt-60 and 5kg of TNT exploded at the tip of Manhattan, it would make the whole area of New York City uninhabitable for decades to come.”-1)

In referring you to the Iink below I am thoroughly familiar with the author Finian Cunningham and have been reading his articles for several years. For me he is a trusted source. He is a senior journalist of international standing with an excellent understanding of geopolitics in the same league as Pepe Escobar and Alastair Crooke.
Journalists such as these have critical importance in these times as they are independents willing to speak truth to power.
What he reports in this article I endorse as it goes with the flow and context of events reported from other sources.
We live in very perilous times as too much of what is happening is driven by propaganda, lies and the desperation of Western powers to cover the tracks of their treachery. The Western media is in total collapse and no more than propagandist for NATO as the embodiment of war mongering Western powers desperate to thwart the emergence of the multipolar world that is more fair to all and just.
We also live in a time when Western populations have been abandoned and betrayed by our governments in their psychopathic pursuit of global supremacy and where the global community is hostage to their perpetual wars.
Each of us must weigh the concerns Cunningham raises from our own perspective. From my perspective I felt an obligation to share this with you immediately. I hope you will share this with others as regardless of outcomes everybody has a right to know. Our right to know, and to know the truth are severely threatened in these despotic times.
