NATO is Bleeding Canada and the World Dry.

As it stands now historians will record sometime in the future Western Civilization was the architect of it own demise as are all empires; steeped in lies, treachery propaganda and endless wars.

When the USSR collapsed in 1989 NATO was kept in place continuing to colonize Europe and conscripted to serve in Washington’s war on the world

There is much the article isn’t telling and we must look at the issue in fuller context. Without context news too easily becomes propaganda. There is no shortage of lies and propaganda in these times and the mainstream media has proven once and for all how willing it is to whore its heart and soul to the reckless warmongers determined to destroy the West.

NATO is playing its evil role as an extortionist, pretending to be a defense alliance when in fact it is presently (and has been for a long time) the greatest threat to world peace. It broke its commitment to not expand eastward but has since pushed up to Russia’s borders and it is a little nervous. Just as if China started deploying missiles along the Mexican border Americans would be just as upset.

NATO is still trying to sell the lie Russia intervening in Ukraine was a “full Russian invasion.” In January 2022 after years of petitioning for security guarantees Washington conclusively refused to negotiate such guarantees. Joe Biden arrogantly proclaimed that America does not recognize other country’s “spheres of influence” or “red lines.” Even though it regards all of Planet Earth as its sphere of influence it is quick to set red lines in its favor and walk away from international agreements on the whim of a president.

Russia was compelled to intervene as there was civil war in Ukraine’s eastern provinces and civilian ethnic Russians were being slaughtered. It intervened with an SMO (Special Military Operation) for the sole purpose of stabilizing and bringing peace to the four provinces. It was never an all out invasion even though the Western propaganda mill tried to portray it as such. Where NATO escalated Russia sought a negotiated settlement. NATO’s actual intent was a war on Russia with Ukraine as its proxy and Zelensky as its stooge.

The war has since been lost but the West/NATO cannot face the reality they have lost a war they thought would be a quick easy victory.

A lesser known cause of the war was that Russia and Western Europe were developing strong economic ties, especially in energy where European industry was thriving on a steady supply of cheap Russian gas through the Nord Stream pipelines. It is no coincidence Washington blew up the pipelines as it was losing its hold on its European protectorates.

NATO is no longer just “North Atlantic” it has gone global and is zeroing in on China. The Canadian Navy is “patrolling” the waters of the South China Sea along with other NATO member states trying to provoke war, also known as gunboat diplomacy and reckless brinkmanship.

Empire’s can never be seen to start wars they lie, provoke and manipulate and use endless propaganda to cast the blame on others.

Taiwan and Ukraine have a lot in common serving as strategic forward operating bases for waging WW lll against China and Russia respectively. The ultimate goal is to seize control of all of Eurasia, damn the cost and consequences—- All outlined in The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives (1997)by Zbigniew Brzezinski.  Little wonder NATO is desperate for cash as it has a world to conquer and is willing to sacrifice the West to do it.

In Roman times the colonies of Rome paid tribute taxes to finance its wars and this is just what NATO member states are doing to make it possible for Washington to wage war on the world at great social and economic cost to themselves. Enough is never enough. The tax is now at 2% of GDP and can just as easily become 3 or 4%. It is long past being protection money, now NATO vassal states are on the hook paying for the empire’s bloody perpetual wars — the biggest extortion racket the world has ever seen, and may ever see.

Global annual military spending by all countries is 2.4 trillion dollars. NATO accounts for 60% of this amount.

It is a well known fact the US spends almost a trillion dollars on military spending annually. The “US Classified Estimate” of China’s is highly suspect as it is most likely inflated to justify its own expenditures. Much of China’s spending is justified as defensive as the US trying to provoke war against China and Russia neither of which are notorious imperialists.

The numbers are not on Washington’s side as it is 35 trillion dollars in debt. It pays a trillion dollars a year in interest, which is half its national budget.

In 2021 the US abandoned it occupation of Afghanistan after 20 years and 2.3 trillion dollars spent. It stole 7 billion dollars in Afghan currency reserves, just as it is stealing Russia’s now. It is estimated to have abandoned 80 billion dollars in equipment and the Taliban is back in power .

Russia is accused of having imperial ambitions when its annual military spending is far less than that spent by NATO has spent on the war in Ukraine.

War is very inflationary and the numbers are only going to get worse.

Reading Brzezinski’s book is the tale of a catastrophic failure in US foreign policy in Eurasia. He advised that if the US was going to successfully dominate the Eurasian heartland Washington must not alienate either Russia or China. It must appear “benign and visionary.” Rather, its belligerence and failure to conduct a measured and competent foreign policy has caused Russia, China and others to form an anti-hegemonic pact centered on BRICS and building a more just and fair multipolar world.

While the East is pursuing peace and prosperity, the desperate West is trying to provoke world war three, as its only salvation. All it is accomplishing is to bankrupt itself morally and fiscally and marginalizing itself in the world community.

Instead of ganging up on Canada NATO member states should wake up to the damage wars and militarism have done to their countries and economies and quit being stooges for a dying empire.
