In my many years of blogging I have learned a few great truths. The first is that most people prefer the reassuring lie over the inconvenient truth. The present world crisis has come about as too many political zombies have been lying to themselves and to others for too long and too often. As the old saying goes too much shit has been pushed under the carpets in the halls power, too much money has changed hands and too many imbeciles just love dancing with the devil.

I have felt for a very long time all the great ideas have been expressed and we fail to act on them. Humanism in these times has been beaten into the ground and outlawed for the duration. We have a tremendous humanist legacy dating back thousands of years and here we are today determined to bomb ourselves back to the stone age led by lobotomized zombies who should be in jail.

The very things we suppress and refuse to make part of our political dialog are what kills our societies. Too many people maintain passive politesse and deeply infused prejudices preventing an open dialogue. This plays into hands of the despots.

In turn the the mainstream media has a monstrous culpability for the present crisis as it has been the official liar on behalf of the despots and their wicked agenda for decades, and now the depth of their betrayal has been revealed.

We should all be looking for the true prophets as the false prophets have prevailed for too long. Vijay Prashad in the following video is a voice than must be heard.

When Prashad uses the term “HYPER-IMPERIALISM” it is not an overstatement as the the West has been hostage to imperialism for four hundred years. In its path it has left hundreds of millions dead, whole cultures destroyed and endless resources squandered. Now imperialism has gone “hyper” as the despotic West is desperate to take over a world never theirs to have speaking for only 16% of the world’s population.

Imperialism and the berserk militarism that follows are at their apex now with the ability to destroy the world with endless wars and the ensuing chaos and anarchy. In fact chaos and anarchy are the weaponry of despots among so many others.

Before leaving office Barack Obama signed a one trillion dollar bill for the maintenance and modernization of America’s nuclear arsenal.

Prashad is a man with solutions. In this video he outlines how we must get back to both Democracy and Socialism.

As we have seen Democracy in the West has been crushed out of existence over many decades and is now in full collapse as governments are the enemy of the people and the betrayal is complete.

The US spent the last half of the 20th Century purging Socialism out of their political and social system as it consolidated its warfare state and pursued war on the world.

Socialism is the dreaded enemy of the war mongering despots as it means people come before wars and profits, to both of which they are addicted. We are social tribal beings and they deny us the fundamental right to exist in social societies, also known as nation states.

Their objective as globalists is to destroy nation states as a matter of economic, imperialist and corporate expediency reducing the world to a feudal monoculture they control.

Russia, China and associated countries (BRICS) are nation states insisting on their autonomy and moving toward the essential multipolar world. They are building for better futures where the West, as embodied in NATO, is destroying itself with Pyrrhic wars.

In 1989 the USSR collapsed peacefully for many of the same reasons the US empire is collapsing now. It has built back better and this is what the US must also do.

As Prashad suggests Democracy and Socialism are the road maps to build back America and the West.
