Jefferson's "wolves" are killing America
In these mean times, Jefferson warned us 237 years ago the wolves were on their way , “It seems to be the law of our general nature”.
It occurred to me as I was preparing to write this blog how many of America’s Founding Fathers cautioned how vulnerable the new republic would be to subversion and insurrection. It was almost as if they new it was only a matter of historical impetus before the newly minted constitution would be trashed by the dark criminal forces always ready to crush the ideals of democracy in pursuit of despotic agendas.
Would the newly minted republic become a mimic of the vile British empire it had just cast off?
Jefferson’s quote above is more relevant today than when he said it. The criminality of government far outs strips the crimes of the worst gangsters. The killing, human and societal, just goes on and on and has become civilizational. The “clash of civilizations” has now become the demise of a civilizations with our names are written all over it.
