The wars and genocides for absolute dominance are killing the world. The barbarism of the West must be brought to heel, global extinction is on the table.

Washington is red with rage at a world it can no longer control

Fortress North America has a very big problem. Too many of us see the world as a game of cowboys and Indians and the cowboys have to win every time. There is the lone star sullen sheriff who goes around pistol whipping whoever is the designated enemy, and of course this becomes a pretext for war, genocide or any other atrocity as required.

We are trapped in a world where the winner/loser psyche is deeply embedded and ultimately self-destructive to us all. In fact the numbers show the West is a world where a select few oligarchs rule and everybody else is thrown overboard. We have devolved into slave states, where money, absolute power and endless war rule.

From the outset, let it be clear my remarks concerning my American neighbors are are out of concern for what America is doing to itself and its negative impact on the world community. My writing echos the sentiments of many American writers and historians, and many others that I read. Their concerns are my concerns.

It has been said all the great ideas have been expressed what remains is to act on them, and we are running late. 

The fortress is suffering a severe case of historic and political illiteracy, endless barrages of propaganda, media outlets are bilge pumps for the oligarchs, and conniving politicians are willing to sell their souls to whatever lobbyist arrives at their door.

We regularly hear the terms Sinophobic and Russiaphobic.These phobia’s are deeply entrenched in our political classes as they are the cheerleaders for the empire’s wars, in turn it is their role to instill these same phobia’s in We the public. We are expected to obediently give our tacit permission to whatever outrage the war mongers want to perpetrate. The time has come where we must speak loudly and in solidarity.

America is listening to all the wrong voices. They should be listening to their true patriots and sages. As it is, the Philistines, the inmates are running the asylum. They have declared war on and our societies.

The world needs a strong vital America as an honest broker to play an important roll in world affairs in league with the world’s other great powers.

To see the world as a perpetual rivalry among hegemonic powers is a recipe for disaster-the disaster we are now living. As the world changes so must we. As issues go from being local to transnational and global we must treat them accordingly, and effectively. Here, for example, I refer to the war on climate change pushed to the back burner, preempted by perpetual war.

We have been blanketed with ruinous ideologies defying common sense and destroying our humanity.

We fail to see that the selective vilification of China, Russia and other countries are no more than tawdry transparent trickery to justify imperialist/hegemonic expansion and subjugating the inalienable right of other countries to exist on their own terms. The West is the parochial narcissist.

These are countries that have spent the last half century rebuilding their economies and new propensities. Do we really think they want to go to war to satisfy the insatiable megalomania of a rogue super power in decline? They are moving toward a new multipolar world that is more just with a respect for diplomacy and peaceful co-existence.

We in the West like to see ourselves as the global norm, The Golden Mean, by which all others must live. In fact we have become an anomalous civilization based on specious ethnocentrism.   

Empire as a renunciation of both socialism and democracy.

When I speak of socialism, it is synonymous with societies, humanism and liberalism For the Philistines socialism is a threat, when it is our right to form societies and live socially. This right has been erased to divert the power and wealth of nations to the corporatist one per cent and their perpetual wars. Ironically, they have established a parasitic socialism for themselves where all wealth travels up and away from the societies it is meant to sustain. We are seeing our societies reduced to dystopian enclaves where power money and perpetual war define them— the ultimate tyranny.

To strip societies of their socialism, humanism, and liberalism goes a long way to destroying them— just what we are seeing today.

Democracy is a fragile ideology that can be washed away with the wave of a hand. Its existence depends on the integrity and character of its practitioners. It is so easily washed away when sleazy practitioners are faced with the prospect of more power, more money. Democracy in the West has become a lip service ideology forsaken. The practitioners have sold their souls to become pimps for the empire and the oligarchs.

In his inaugural campaign address, January 6th, the US president opened by referring to protecting America’s long gone “sacred democracy.” He spent the next half hour slandering his opponent and delivering platitudes to a gullible hand clapping audience. His party has betrayed the country, lost another war in Ukraine, is presiding over a brazen genocide and he is personally facing corruption charges. He failed to advise the audience he is actually working for the empire, while paying lip service to the Republic, American democracy is a casualty of neoliberalism, as with so many other Western countries.

Israel’s Hegemonic Panic Attack

Time wears on and the suffering of the Palestinians becomes more and more acute. Truth and clarity arrive as with the Ukrainian debacle. Events are too often other than what they appear. Where the propaganda races out control truth eventually catches up. Thankfully, the merchants of truth have done their digging.

• It now appears the attack of October 7th was a false flag pretext to justify the genocide.

• The genocide is co-sponsored by both the US and Israel as it serves both of their long terms interests.

• The US and Israel are determined to throw a wrench into the Chinese Belt and Road initiative which is a benefit to all countries connected to it.

• Israel has powerful commercial interests in wanting Gaza flattened and made part of a major new canal, superseding the Suez Canal. They also want to seize oil and gas rights in the Mediterranean Sea exclusively for themselves.

• The genocide is very much a hegemonic panic attack on the part of Israel, as it sees the empire in precipitous decline, losing another war in Ukraine, and its own extra territorial ambitions fading.

• It is now expanding into a regional war as the US is attacking adjacent countries. It has locked down control of Europe and now attempting to secure the Middle East.

Like Ukraine , Israel is another proxy acting out the empire’s dying rage.

The way forward

Fortress North America is stuck in the 20th century still fighting old wars and pursuing delusions of grandeur. Where we should be preparing for better futures we are drowning in intransigence and hubris.

The real and present danger is to see the present status quo as immutable and “end times.” If so we are surely doomed. Change requires creating new mind sets. Where we have a genius for corruption and recidivism we also have one for adaption, where we are willing to rise to the occasion.

Where the choice was made to exercise hard power, soft power can lift all boats toward a better world. There will always be wars and conflict but we can never allow them to paralyze and destroy our societies as we are now. Wars fought now are a direct threat to planetary survival, that threat is rising exponentially.

Idealism sounds naive in these times,but we must aim at the ideal to realize new realities,as every change is subject to consensus and compromise. Terminal societies or progressive societies?, that is the choice. 

The dark forces that now dominate the West are anti-democratic, sociopathic and contemptuous of populations they are mandated to serve but recklessly exploit.

The wars and genocides for absolute dominance are killing the world. The barbarism of the West must be brought to heel. Global extinction is on the table.

Are we really in the business of building great societies and civilizations just so we can destroy them with continual war and human corruptions?
