From Democracy, to pathocracy to evilocracy
The empire in defeat becomes the evilocracy and the West has to reinvent itself.
“Admitting to the need for change is not the most common human trait. And the more power we have, the less change interests us; indeed, the more it frightens us. Nevertheless, eras do stumble, grind, pitch to an end and then, there we are, once again groping our way through an obscure vacuum.”— Saul, John Ralston. The Collapse of Globalism Revised Edition: And The Reinvention Of The World.
"Europeans have to be much more engaged with the rest of the world. Otherwise, the rest of the world will invade us, by different ways and means."— Josep Borrell, EU foreign policy chief (now retired) from a speech, 10/7/22
In the desolate West there is too much happening all at the same time and we are under assault as never before. The world is going through massive change and a new world order is emerging.
The West as the desolate hold out is desperately clinging to the wreckage of the unipolar world that it created and is now superseded by change; which they refuse to accept as inevitable. The world is never static but always dynamic. Those who refuse to change with the times are lost, relegated to the dustbin of history. Clinging to the pipe dreams of the 20th Century does not equip a country or civilization for the challenges of the 21st. Waging wars and terror on the world while the majority are building peace and prosperity is the low road to hell.
For the conniving war dog West World War ll never ended. It was just reformatted with a new cast of war criminals on a grander scale with larger lies and more blatant hypocrisies. Where WW ll was the first corporate war, so has every war since.
Now the West must swallow the bitter pill of its own making and take responsibility for its abject failures— sacrificing nation states, enslaving them to their delusional desire for global empire. The “monsters” are so utterly pretentious. They claim to speak for the majority when they only speak for 12% of the world’s population.
The monsters refuse to speak the languages of diplomacy, consensus or compromise as this would be an adjudication of their criminal behaviors and international lawlessness. War and belligerence are the only languages they speak.
We are seeing the consequence of what happens when too much power and money fall into the wrong hands as if this buys immunity from responsibility and moral and ethical standards.
When President Harry S. Truman learned that the US had successfully tested the atomic bomb, his juvenile response was, “now we can do whatever we want.” Hiroshima and Nagasaki were his immediate victims. This juvenility persists in US administrations to this day especially with aging senators in their ghoulish presences trapped in times long past.
The last ditch war which NATO provoked against Russia using Ukraine as its proxy never had an overall strategy for winning. It has been a war NATO naively thought it could win “on the cheap”on the installment plan at Ukraine’s expense. Almost two years later it is clear Russia has won the war but NATO refuses to negotiate a formal peace treaty as it is a huge loss of face and confirmation before the world the belligerent West is in decline.
The war has been pushed to the back burner on slow simmer while the US holds a presidential election— loss of the war cannot be an election issue with a good chance nothing will change as the West appears bound and determined to dive deeper into its evilocracy trapped in the vortex of complete collapse.
Borrell’s Delusional Garden
“Europe is a garden. We have built a garden. Everything works. It is the best combination of political freedom, economic prosperity and social cohesion that humankind has been able to build – the three things together," Borrell said during the event.
"The rest of the world," he went on,"is not exactly a garden. Most of the rest of the world is a jungle, and the jungle could invade the garden."
Borrell then appeared to refer to EU ambassadors as "gardeners" and urged them to "go to the jungle," that is to carry out their diplomatic work around the world and advance the bloc's geopolitical agenda.
"A nice small garden surrounded by high walls in order to prevent the jungle from coming in is not going to be a solution. Because the jungle has a strong growth capacity, and the wall will never be high enough in order to protect the garden,"
"Europeans have to be much more engaged with the rest of the world. Otherwise, the rest of the world will invade us, by different ways and means."
Borrell’s “garden”speech is completely disingenuous and little wonder the media savaged it as being racist and out of touch with reality.
Borrell makes the usual Western claim that Russia is the villain of the peace in Ukraine when there is an irrefutable chain of historical events and evidence the war was provoked by NATO as part of its strategic plan to own and control all of Eurasia.
Borrell refuses to acknowledge the fact that both NATO and the EU are totally subservient to Washington’s every wish and NATO/EU members are slave states to Washington’s hegemonic wars.
Washington cannibalized its European colonies when it marched them into war against Russia as their chief trading partner. EU economic sanctions against Russia have backfired and its economy is now doing better than ever. Borrell of course makes no mention of the US blowing the Nord Stream pipelines which destroyed Europe’s access to cheap gas essential to Europe’s industrial prosperity.
Borrell’s garden has already been invaded and “occupied” as it has been littered with US bases since WW ll. Now with NATO’s intention of escalating the war against Russia it is more than willing to use Europe as its forward operating base, just as it is using Taiwan further east.
Colonies are more than willing to adopt the lies and crimes of the empire.
Its ethnic demography has been dramatically altered by the influx of millions of refugees from countries NATO has blown up.
Not only is Ukraine in ruins as a NATO proxy. Borrell failed to mention that Europe is also.
As Henry Kissinger stated: “America doesn’t have permanent friends or enemies, just interests.” ; or as Vladimir Putin stated they are not “agreement capable”
Borrell’s garden is not “engaged” with the rest of the world because it is colonized and colonization is the policy of disengagement and a parochial existence, just as Canada pursues. Europe was liberated from The Third Reich in1945, only to be re-occupied and colonized to this day.
Borrell’s “garden” is very much part of the Western jungle that only gets deeper and darker. His gardeners are dilettantes running on empty as was his speech.
In 1991 the USSR collapsed and many European countries wanted to strike a more independent course but Washington was not about to give up its European beach head for containment and a future war against Eurasia. NATO pushed eastward up to Russia’s border which resulted in Ukraine being the pawn sacrifice for war against Russia.
Now NATO has gone global preparing for war against China. It will also lose as NATO proves over and over it is the paper tiger trying to bluff its way to global dominance while running out of time, resources strategies and credibility as truth prevails over its spiteful lies and propaganda.
Now is the time of the monsters. “Admitting to the need for change is not the most common human trait.” The West’s evilocracy prevails and it must reinvent itself … “groping our way through an obscure vacuum,” entirely self inflicted, too many lies told too often, no scapegoating allowed.
"Clinging to the pipe dreams of the 20th Century does not equip a country or civilization for the challenges of the 21st. Waging wars and terror on the world while the majority are building peace and prosperity is the low road to hell."
That garden/jungle speech is so racist and, from what I read online, Borrell has never understood exactly why it offended people. Colonialism goes so deep.
I think the way the west does things is the way it always has done things, only now we're seeing what our governments do through social media, and a lot of us are challenging colonialist, racist and imperialist belief systems.
I don't hold out a lot of hope for western leaders reinventing themselves. I don't think they're going to undrink that kool-aid. I wish we knew what we should do as they flounder...
Workers for Peace
We invite everyone in our world to sign this call for a conversation about peace. It doesn't matter if you are a housewife, farmer, teacher, office worker, union or nonunion or unemployed. We are all Sisters and Brothers here and we must rely on each other to get the Solidarity World we deserve. Please share!
In our workplaces and poverty lines across our world, plutocrats and corporate royalty and their union hacks collude to persuade us to see other workers as competitors and enemies.
We are pushed by powerful, corrupt labor Bigs to believe that it is now the business of trade unionism to put our brothers and sisters out of work.
We see how this dog eat dog attitude towards all workers -- with whom we have everything in common – destroys our Solidarity.
We see that in war, soldiers -- the production workers of war -- lose not only their jobs but also their lives while the rich profit.
We say that war is the eventual endgame outcome of worker against worker, dog eat dog competition which workers lose so the rich can be richer.
War is the ultimate, evil competition.
We call on workers everywhere to stop the competition between us and to fight for a world based in solidarity.
Everyone can at least talk and we ask that our talk include what we can all do to make the world a safe and happier place. We call on workers to simply talk about the traditional direct action tools of the labor movement.
Can we call for and have international conversations about redeveloping our traditional weapons -- slowdowns, sitdowns, and strikes -- to bring down those who kill us, and to equalize wages and working conditions at the highest possible levels throughout the world?
If we must fight, let us fight against those who constantly divide us and play us against each other for their own profit even to the point of forcing us to kill each other.
If we must fight a war let it be a war against selfishness and poverty.
Let us fight to unite all workers against the destructive, dictatorial greed of corporate moguls. Let us fight to see that those who have the least gain equality in wages, health care and education and the right to a happy life.
A simple conversation started amongst workers who believe in the working class values of solidarity, equality and democracy can change the world.
Let our war begin with the peaceful exchange of words and ideas.
