Friends of History's Parrot, Year End Letter
I suggest we all think globally and act locally. It has never been more important for us to have a fair and objective world view in spite of our stumblebum straw dog political elites.
As another year closes out there are many thank yous due for delivery. First and foremost to my loyal readers for without you these blogs are dead letters.
A special thank you goes out to David in Hong Kong and Vera in Switzerland for regularly sending me informative links. With all that is happening these links are invaluable.
A very special thank you goes out to the geniuses at Substack who have engineered and provided such a great platform. I have been on others but Substack sets a new standard, not only from a technical stand point, but a forum to read and communicate with other writers; along with its dedicated promotion of high quality writing.
I must also thank my international sources, mainly in the US, where freedom of speech is alive and well on the margins, though missing from the mainstream media. It saddens one to see what naked propagandists major news outlets have become.
As the mainstream media goes into full collapse there is the new international media emerging. We must all support it however we can as there are many great journalists digging out the truth on our behalf. In these times of grotesque Western media censorship Substack becomes an essential service and signals the emergence of the new media where journalism wins back its integrity.
My time-tested trusted sources provide me with more than enough stuff to squawk about, lots of dots for connecting and more pieces to fit into History’s jigsaw.
History’s Parrot is sixteen months old and has a growing subscription list. It has published 182 posts with many drafts in the hopper. It is read in 20 US states, and 22 countries. Sixty per cent of my readers reside in the USA.
I am a self-declared internationalist as I think the world is at an historic turning point where our futures are going to be decided in the world of geopolitics and we must adopt the multipolar world as a matter of global survival.
My first concern as a blogger is that we must for the sake of global survival establish a more enlightened world where international harmony and a more peaceful world order prevail. This I know is a lofty ambition given the last century of perpetual war, violence and squalid global militarism where the world has become an armed camp.
The greatest impediment to achieving a new and essential global civility is the presence of a rogue superpower desperately trying to achieve complete global hegemony. It is a grave threat to world peace and this threat must be neutralized before the world can attain an essential equilibrium and forward progress.
The tyranny imposed on the world by the globalists forces us to see the world in global terms as they advance their class war on steroids and their rolling coup d’etat against nation states. They are determined to turn the world into a fascist homogeneous monoculture they can manipulate to their liking, confiscating all wealth for their own. Nation states and democracy are not invited to the party.
I suggest we all think globally and act locally. It has never been more important for us to have a fair and objective world view in spite of our stumblebum straw dog political elites.
All nations everywhere have a right to self-determination and peaceful co-existence.
Where a lot of ruinous ideologies got us into this mess, wisdom, diplomacy and common sense are the ideologies that will save us. Until the idiots in Washington repudiate war the world is in grave danger.
