Doing Cartwheels for the Oligarchs

Doing cartwheels in my early teenage years was a very popular activity, mainly for young girls. They had the light frames and the agility to execute them to near perfection. It wasn’t uncommon to see two or three of them together practicing as a casual past time.

As for us boys it was a different story. I was never the gazelle or springbok built for running or doing cartwheels. After a few tortured laps around the track my coach suggested I take up the shot put, discus or maybe the hammer throw. He was right and I appreciate his candor to this day, even then I realized me trying to do a cartwheel was a joke to behold.

Of course cartwheels can be done at most ages but in later years only by practiced and dedicated gymnasts. The female of the species still has the preferred grace and beauty to do a great cartwheel.

Cartwheeling like break dancing are great ways of showing off physical prowess exclusive to the more youthful and agile among us.

In these times we are cursed with geriatric cartwheelers who should be in wheelchairs, totally incapable of doing cartwheels of any sort, mental, physical, or political. When the oligarchs who have bought and paid for them want them to do a political cartwheel they end up flat on their ass in the middle of the floor with all the world laughing and…in too many instances crying.

My guess is that neither Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi did good cartwheels in their younger years, and now they indulge in pathetic flip flops and finger pointing.

Joe Biden and I are the same age and I am more than happy it is the only thing we have in common. While I am happy to walk our dogs he is still trying to do political cartwheels for the oligarchs and falling on his ass every time. I could give Genocide Joe a few lessons in how to enjoy a healthy happy retirement but his cognition is fading too fast. He is suffering an acute case of self-inflicted elderly abuse.

In an early campaign speech he referred to America as a “sacred democracy” when it is well known democracy in the West it is on the rocks and there are a host of academics willing to confirm it, most notably John Mearsheimer.

What sort of President dangles more war to come when he announces the USA will be going to war against China in 2025. Maybe what he meant to say was that the Rand Corporation advised the government some time ago they had to stop China’s expansion by 2025. China is already confirmed as the world’s leading economy and the numbers are there to prove it. Watch the video:

This is a brutal fact we have to accept and adapt to and no amount of envy, arrogance or pseudo-exceptionalism is going to change that.

In my younger years there was an often heard slogan “What is good for General Motors is good for America.” Today General Motors is based in China and sells more cars there than they do in the USA.

Joe and his buddies forget that China has four times the population and they were more than willing to see America’s industrial base to moved to China for quick corporate profits.

He also forgets that the corporate oligarchs who own him have only one loyalty, and that is to profits and profiteering and damn the social consequences. Good old Joe just can’t come to understand that war is inflationary, tariffs only make a bad situation worse, and debt peonage is no way to run a country.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Q. Brown told the New York Times Thursday that the NATO military alliance will “eventually” send significant numbers of active-duty NATO troops to Ukraine which the newspaper said meant the deployment was “inevitable.” No political cartwheels here just loitering around and delaying the day they have to face up the fact the the war is lost.

As George Kennan pointed out long ago if you are constantly preparing for war there will be war. If government is a slave to the Military Industrial Congressional Complex there will be war. Where the CIA is allowed to subvert governments around the world there will never be peace. Where the mainstream media is no more than a lick spittle to war mongers there will never be social equilibrium.

Imagine former British prime minister Boris Johnson going to Ukraine in April 2022, collaring Zelensky and ordering the war must go on and on. That was a time when everybody could have gone home with minimal casualties and no loss of face. But no, NATO had to escalate it to the last Ukrainian standing and the carnage goes on forevermore.

Liz Truss was the shortest serving British prime minister ever, resigning after seven weeks. She was more than happy to go nuclear.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken just made a surprise visit to Ukraine to assure Zelensky he had Washington’s undying support. A rather faint-hearted assurance when US foreign policy can change on a dime and with a presidential election approaching Blinken could be unemployed by year’s end. While there he also showed us he eats pizza in grungy bars, can’t sing and plays lousy guitar.

NATO Secretary General and Washington’s chief war monger Jens Stoltenberg has announced that F-16’s are going to be sent to Ukraine but he doesn’t know when. This is war on the installment plan and as usual NATO is too quick to escalate, running late and slow to react as usual.

The oligarch’s should have hired more capable stooges as the current crop just isn’t getting the job done.
