Civilizational collapse, as barbarism takes over
It appears Humankind has a predilection for life among the ruins of our own making.
When NATO puppet states allowed themselves to be led into war against Russia using Ukraine as its proxy, I said to myself this is one war too many for the empire. It is suffering severe imperial overreach, massive debt, the hollowing of its homeland and a rapidly changing world it can no longer control.
The Ukraine war has been lost which comes as no surprise. From the beginning it was obvious this was an ad hoc venture run by NATO never supplying the manpower and resources Zelensky required to win.
To make matters worse Western intelligence completely miscalculated Russia’s ability to survive economic sanctions and its military prowess. Ukraine got clobbered— poke the stick in the bears cage once too often and he comes out mad as hell but at the same time wanting a negotiated settlement. NATO was determined to weaken Russia when in fact it has empowered Russia. NATO forgot too quickly it was really Russia that won WW II and when sanctioned economically, it just took its business elsewhere. It had already “sanction proofed” its economy to a very large degree.
No sooner is Ukraine reduced to ruins, with a genocidal loss of life and millions of refugees than the Hamas attack of October 7th grabs the headlines away from Ukraine. Netanyahu used the attack to justify his atrocious genocide when the intentions of Hamas were to force an exchange of hostages, where they seized Israeli hostages in anticipation of exchanging them for Palestinian hostages held by Israel.
But there are larger issues at play as both Israel and Washington want to establish absolute control over the Middle East and the Gaza genocide can easily be seen as a provocation leading to a greater war. For decades Washington has waged war in the Middle East to assert its dominance, including an ongoing war in Syria, and a burning desire to destroy Iran.
In still a larger context we are seeing WW lll fought on many fronts and very much a hybrid war. Where the USA thought WW lll would be a repeat of WW ll it is largely an economic geopolitical war where new political and economic alliances are being formed, all shifting away from the grasp of the USA and its extortionist self-serving foreign policy of endless repression.
Led by Russia and China a new multipolar world is emerging and this is quite simply driving Washington crazy to the point of desperation as it sees its power over the world diminishing rapidly. A world it dominated with impunity for half a century, bloodying its resume disqualifying it as a candidate for emperor of the World.
Where Washington sees forever wars as its salvation the Asian world sees salvation in peace, prosperity and building better futures. Washington refuses to accept the judgments of history where empire after empire collapses by those who created them. Empires are terminal from the moment of their creation as their creators are especially fallible to human folly.
The globe is littered with the remains of former empires where all the blood and pretensions have been spent; becoming tourist attractions for later generations.

We see the world with crippled eyes as we refuse to see it as it is. We build our gated safe havens of delusional beliefs when the enemy is within the gates and we are it. We are too willing to let others define our reality to suit their self- serving destructive agendas. We refuse to accept the immutable forces of history(of our own making) that rule us. We allow history, our story, our handle on reality, to be stolen away by vicious ideologues and their perversions of reality.
Seeing tells us things words cannot always convey. Seeing is also turning the blind eye to a world we don’t want to see, but inevitably, and undeniably, it is of our own making. What happens, in the affairs of Humankind is not by chance, but by intent. We are the delegated rational creatures so prone to destroying ourselves when we indulge in irrational behaviors— just as our elites are indulging in irrational demonic behaviors, dangerously and unaccountably so.
As the farmer sows his crop, we sow the seeds of our own destruction. The clusterfuck we are seeing now has its origins in events and crimes committed over the last hundred years. Crises are the culmination of what has come become before—in other words these are the days of reckoning for accumulated crimes and bad judgments of decades past— you might say we are at the bottom end of the slippery slope flat on our asses.
We are seeing what happens when predatory capitalism is freed from any social constraints. It mutates into agency for forever imperialist/fascist wars.
We are seeing what happens when democracy is crushed out of existence and elected governments are no more than cheerleaders and lackeys to imperialist wars.
We are seeing what happens when whole populations are abandoned and betrayed by the governments we elect to maintain peace, order and good government.
We are seeing the abject failure of accountable and responsible government.
We are seeing the conversion of political parties into self-serving parasitic totalitarian groupies riding on corporate coat tails. Politicians no long serve the public interest, but the vested interests who control them.
We are seeing massive scapegoating and vilification of other countries trying to blame them for our own failures— the healing begins with us.
We are seeing the dire effects of ruinous ideologies that are insurrections against democracy. Neoliberalism has been a social wrecking ball against Western societies for the last 60 years.
Populations under neoliberals are reduced to feudal consumers, commodified and taxed to finance the elites every whim and fancy, most prominently wars. The corporate welfare state thrives while whole societies are put on starvation rations.

I must see the world in pretty much the same way, for I see nothing in here with which I can disagree.
