China and Russia: Essential countervails for peace
As Western war mongers try to drag us into greater world wars these two countries are doing their best to avoid war.
The time is here for mending fences not waging war. War is a losers game. Peace and prosperity are the winners every time. We must see the world as it is, not as depraved war mongers want us to see it.

"We have to condemn publicly the very idea that some people have the right to repress others. In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers ... we are ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations." - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

These are outrageous, absurd and treasonous times, where all our cards have to be on the table. We have to be completely honest with ourselves and others. The hard questions have to be asked and answered honestly— for a change—-as there has been too much bullshit, lying and complete stupidity; capped by what is turning out a Western civilizational death wish. It is a pain inducing spectacle to see the theater of the absurd the West has become as we piss in our own shoes over and over again, refusing to recognize there are alternatives to our self-inflicted ruination constructed over too many decades.
John F. Kennedy once stated every problem we have is created by ourselves and therefore must solvable by ourselves. It also follows that every impediment to solving the problem is an impediment put there by those who created it. They must be clearly identified and held to account. It also follows that the crisis we are suffering is a long standing failure of accountability over many decades.
We simply cannot grasp the concepts that violence begets more violence, war begets more war. We push too hard in one direction we get the opposite reaction and the disasters that follow. We refuse the MIDDLE WAY when it stares us in the face. It is nothing more than rationality, common sense, and moderation. Stuff our mothers taught us but our defunct leaders fail to grasp, as their failures proliferate into endless chaos.
Those of us in North America have to face the harsh reality we are probably the most racist propagandized culture in the world. This racism has in part been induced by imperialist war mongers to justify their exploitation of other peoples. This racism was endemic in the now defunct British empire, and even more so in the American empire now.
Imperialism is a taboo word today, along with many others as these are ideologies hidden from us, that actually identify us. Imperialism and its first cousin neocolonialism are by definition racist. The beleaguered West is a haven for retired imperialists who have exploited the world for the last five hundred years. Most are now pathetic puppet states to another empire busily digging its own grave.
We refuse to accept that history has an inherent power and authority over us. It mirrors our failures and successes and recidivist and cyclical behaviors. One such example is the rise and fall of empires repeated over centuries. We saw the end of the Ottoman empire early in the 20th century, the fall of the Third Reich and the resignation of the British empire at the end of WW ll. Now we are seeing the fall of the American empire which is self-inflicted as the seeds of destruction are sown from their birthing. They are unstable tyrannies based on lies, treachery, violence and megalomania. Too much of what is happening now is the rage of failure and refusal to accept fallibility. Empires in decline are very dangerous, psychotically lashing out against a world they once controlled and can no longer.
Objective realities must prevail in a rapidly changing world; not war, propaganda, vilification and scapegoating.
The West is living the most fundamental hypocrisy. Where it claims to be the last bastion of social democracy when our democracies have sacrificed to the maw of the empire. It wants to rule the world representing only13 % of the world’s population, and when Asian countries are producing 70 % of the world’s wealth.
Western economic and political elites are at odds with many Western historians and political scientists who prescribe that the world must inevitably be multipolar, including recognizing Asia as a equal civilization. The world order in the 21st Century must be multipolar as a matter of planetary survival. American historian Samuel Huntington sees the world as eventually five or six civilizations. Zbigniew Brzezinski was a master strategist for the USA and war hawk. Later he altered his view realizing the US, Russia and Asia must reconcile their differences peacefully . As Chinese president Xi Jinping has stated there is room for both China and the USA on the world stage.
As it stands now the USA has a vested interest in war. China and Russia have a vested interest in peace.
America is an empire of long standing with the stated goal of global domination. It has pursued this domination through force of arms and only speaks the language of war at a time the world must establish a peaceful co-existence, especially among the major powers. Its record as the world’s singular super power has been bloody to say the least.
Washington and its NATO vassal states account for 65% of global annual military spending which tells where their priorities lie. Russia and China together are under 20%.
Russia and China are two of the world’s oldest cultures. They have seen more than their share of wars and revolutions. They are determined to pursue peace and prosperity and have rebuilt their societies to this end. The West likes to paint them as having imperialist ambitions but these are not part of their histories. The West has a very long history of ruthless imperialism.China especially, has been a target of Western imperialism for a long time starting with the British.
The American empire is modeled after the British empire, both have killed and exploited millions world wide.
The reason China and Russia are so roundly vilified in the West is that they are the last two sovereign states blocking US global hegemony. Together are a critical countervail to US war mongering and power projection.
This goes to the very reason we must have a multipolar world. Major powers will act as countervails balancing each others as a deterrent to war, and an incentive to practise sound diplomacy.
We see in the world today how perilous it is when a rogue superpower can act with impunity. Twice in less than two years it has committed atrocities in both Ukraine and Gaza. It must take full responsibility for both. It provoked the war in Ukraine and is using the Gaza Genocide to advance its hegmonic ambitions. Meanwhile it is preparing for war against China.
The West is on the road to self-extinction as many observers agree. We must see the world as it is and not let neocon psychopathic ideologues steal steal our futures.
China and Russia are not the enemy. We are our own worst enemy. Outside the propaganda ghetto of the Western world they are taking bold steps to building a more just and balanced world multipolar order, while avoiding world war.
A first step forward is to regard them as a critical countervail to Washington’s belligerence— which is the very issue that drove them into their present defense and economic alliance.
As US political scientist John Mearsheimer has pointed out the USA made a grievous strategic blunder when it alienated Putin’s Russia. It should have befriended it. Equally so, going back to the time of president Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger the US has blundered more than once in its dealings with China.
In too many ways Americans and peoples every where have been victims of Washington’s delusional and berserk triumphalism over too many decades, becoming an existential malignancy for all the world.
Let the healing begin.

Chairman Mao is supposed to have stated once: "the East wind will prevail over the West wind"...and so it seems to be shaping up. Every beginning has an end...and so it is with the West.
