When we think about buying life insurance it is just a matter of pulling out our cell phone and calling an agent. In these post modern times buying life insurance has taken on a whole new meaning as our Western Civilization is in chaos, war prevails and a whole lot of other issues requiring our urgent attention are pushed aside.
We should be building holistic societies that are all inclusive, that foster peace, order and good government, education and opportunity for all and where children can grow to achieve their full potential in peace and security. In a holistic society children have the opportunity to become whole persons, as it is, we are systematical destroying their futures. Young children today escape the trauma of war contingent on the societies they live in, which is not an acceptable standard.
Historical hindsight shows us conclusively WWI laid the ground work for WWII, and it in turn has been the precursor to WW III. Many Western historians have pointed out there are too many parallels common to what was Nazi Germany and the collective West of today.
So called liberal democratic societies of the West are fragmenting themselves with endless wars, violence, ruinous ideologies, endemic racism, corruption and impoverished leadership.
Children have a right to be born into a good home, and that doesn’t mean the house next door or the one down the street. It means a society that is child friendly where they are not going to be traumatized by war, poverty and the sins of morally bankrupt leaders selling out their birth right.
We must project into the future when we are totally locked down in what we see as the invincible present. We are historically illiterate societies where history has been both hijacked and ignored. History tells us where where have been and where we are going. Without it we quickly lose our compasses, moral and otherwise. We are not “street smart” societies. We need the guidance of history to steer us in the right directions. We are recidivist, especially when it comes to war and violence.
Tyrannies can only prevail where history is murdered. Where history is murdered there can be no hope for holistic progressive societies and there are powerful forces today warring against holistic societies. Our education system is programmed to augment this subversion. Where the humanities used to be a key element in a liberal arts education this is no longer the case. Our universities are tuned to corporate funding and priorities. (follow link below)
The plight of children of war is testimony to the acute psychopathy of our troglodyte war mongers. We repeatedly destroy countries on totally false pretenses (Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine) and assuage our guilt and moral depravity by admitting thousands of families as refugees after destroying their homelands, with no sincere empathy for the actual trauma they have suffered. To quit practicing this blatant hypocrisy repeatedly is the level of sincerity and empathy required.
Since the conflict in Ukraine started just over a year ago over six million Ukrainians have fled to take refuge in Europe. The ruination of their country means most will never return. Nor will they be able to return as the rich farm land Ukraine is famous for has already been sold off to Wall Street investors. Over recent years Europe has become home for millions more refugees, all victims of NATO’s wars.
When 500,000 children died in Iraq because of sanctions on medical supplies US Secretary of State Madeline Albright dismissed it as the cost of doing business. Hillary Clinton was caught on camera in a giggling fit over the death of Omar Qaddafi after Libya was bombed out of existence by NATO. Then there was the fearsome British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher who announced there is no such thing as societies— in case you hadn’t heard.
We adamantly proclaim the rights of children but when its comes to war we fall silent— when they are truly the most innocent and vulnerable having to bare the scars of war, physical and emotional, for the rest of their lives.
The criminality and psychopathy of wars today is also a war against future generations, and children’s futures so easily become collateral damage, once, twice or three times removed.
Warfare and social strife freeze us in the present and reduce political progress to crisis management; to say nothing of collateral damage and social adjustments arriving in the aftermath.
One big reason China achieved its “economic miracle” is that it focused on peace and prosperity rather than perpetual war. It also utilizes “five year plans” with clear objectives which Western governments are incapable of utilizing; in large part due to excessive military spending and the consequent wars.
Maybe the time has come for a international war crimes tribunal where the despots and war criminals of today are charged with child abuse against future generations.
Margaret Thatcher is becoming a latter day prophet as the West is doing a very thorough job of making its faltering societies extinct. As the children of the present move into their futures they get to dance among the ruins of present day barbarism.
We cannot change the past. We are losing control of the present and consequently the future, as colonial infantilization and the psychopathy of leaders deepen the crisis. Buying life insurance for our grand children means thinking and building holistically, projecting into the future, and ridding ourselves of the war mongering false prophets who destroy us.
War is a total failure of societal holism and empathy. The failure walks on to infect future generations where insurance is lacking.

Whatever it may take...it is a good thing our world is going 'multipolar' and with the hopes that the 'elites' will finally be put in their places.
