Biden and Trump~The Toxic Clowns

Just imagine if a US presidential candidate announced he would rescind the Wolfowitz Doctrine.The world would suddenly become a more peaceful and progressive place.

As a Canadian border-hugger l can see the blue mountains of the State of Washington from front our window. As a fellow North American we are all very much in the same boat as what happens in DC affects us all and the whole damned world as integrated as we all are. This is why I call myself an “internationalist” as politics has been never so nationally-international.

So much of what happens in the USA slides across the the longest unprotected border in the world too easily.

Americans are not alone in their electoral crisis. Here in Canada we have been in a position of voting for “the lesser evil” for several decades and this relates to the denigration of democracy and party politics heavily influenced by the presence of the neoliberal ideology which has been influencing our politics for the last half century.

There has been a huge shift away from representative and responsible government to where government is now controlled by powerful vested interests which in turn disenfranchises and alienated voters, leaving us totally vulnerable to political caprices and criminality.

The “lesser evil” phenomena has become obsolete. Now there is no choice. Candidates can and will commit pure evil according to the dictates of the Empire, at the expense of the Republic and the world community. Every American president since Kennedy has committed atrocities, or silently suborned them. Over many decades the office of president has been subverted to where there is now-zero choice between candidates. They serve the Empire as their master at ruinous expense to the Republic, socially, morally and fiscally.

The presidency has now deteriorated to the point where they preside over a kill list. Internationally persons seen as a threat can be assassinated as authorized by the president, including American citizens. As per the Wolfowitz Doctrine (1992) any country that challenges American dominance will be destroyed by pre-emptive war. Too many have already suffered the wrath of the psychotic empire and more are in the queue.

Nobody wants to talk about the Wolfowitz Doctrine even though it goes to the core of the war and violence we see today. What’s killing our societies nobody wants to talk about. When the Empire and the Republic share “office space” bad things happen!

From its beginning the US has been torn between two alternatives. The choice being the global imperialist interventionist or the isolationist… as in being the good lawful citizen taking its appropriate role in the world community. By 1899 and the Philippine genocide the balance had swung in favor of the US being the imperialist interventionist in a very bullish manner. As the 20th century moved forward the seeds of the empire were sown. Hitler was gone but not fascism. The USA would take over from the British Empire which was another casualty of WW ll.

After the1960’s as the decade of assassinations, including JFK and too many others, the USA came to have a dual existence. The empire and the republic came to share “office space”, which is comparable to General Bullmoose (played by Donald Trump) sharing space with Daisy Mae as in the classic cartoon series Lil Abner.

And so it came about every president there after had to juggle the needs of empire vs the needs of the republic. This duality required that every president became a practitioner of duplicity, hypocrisy, compulsive lying and plausible deniability. The right hand ( the people) were never meant to see the devil’s handiwork with the left hand—what the empire was doing in the republic’s name. They stole the republic’s narrative and wealth in service to the empire. Needless to say the propagandist corporate owned media was their dedicated accomplice.

Ukraine, Biden’s fatal miscalculation

Empire’s are prone to fatal errors and the American is no exception. In February 2022 Biden led NATO and Ukraine into a proxy war against Russia, now lost but the west cannot come to grips with the consequences and humiliation inflicted on themselves. Europe is an economic disaster zone thanks to economic sanctions imposed on Russia that backfired. They totally miscalculated the strength of Russia’s military and its economic stability. Russia is now stronger than ever, NATO and the EU are fractured and morally destitute.

Biden was so accommodating as to blow the cover on the empire. He publically bragged the real motive was to collapse Russia’s economy, along with regime change. He publically gloated over the blowing up of the Nord Stream pipe line, as did a chorus of other American officials, past and present. Also, he made it perfectly clear war with China is on the empire’s shopping list.

The empire is so green with envy and spite it cannot stand to see another country’s success while it self-immolates its future with endless violence and social chaos.

No sooner did Ukraine lose its war than Biden condoned, supplies and supports Israel’s genocide. As the one world leader who could have shut it down he failed to so. Now he is back peddling like crazy shedding crocodile tears for the Palestinians, shipping in aid and trying to wash the blood off his hands in preparation for the November presidential election. This tragic turn about should in itself disqualify him from the race.

Under Article 25 of the US Constitution he could be removed from office. It won’t happen because he is doing the empire’s dirty work and it is desperate as its global influence declines.

Trump’s fake populism

It comes as no surprise Canadian politics mimics American politics. Donald Trump and Canada’s Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre are fake populists. They are tapping into voters anger at the system that has betrayed them awash in cowardice, incompetence and stupidity. They are weeping crocodile tears for the plight of voters making promises they have no intention of keeping. Canada’s next federal election is in 2025 and will be a repeat of the toxic clown show we are seeing now.

How did it come to be this way?

Over many decades democracy has been crushed out of existence by the parasitic empire. Empire’s not only colonize other countries they colonize their own homeland. The American homeland has paid dearly as the costs of empire have cannibalized the culture, leaving it a slave state to endless war where trillions of dollars have been squandered with a trail of blood spanning the globe.

This is also true in other NATO countries where they have been colonized vassal states for so long they are incapable of conducting their own affairs , setting national priorities or acting in the best interests of their populations.

Presidents are chosen not on merit but cronyism where mediocrity and vested interests rule. They betray the republic to serve the empire.

The Galloway Factor

George Galloway is a British politician who stands tall in these times. He is a rarity in that he speaks truth to power with devastating authority. He sat as an MP for 30 years, and has returned to politics with a land slide victory in a by election. Support for Galloway was so vociferous it shows the frustration and anger Brits have for the government. Indications are that Galloway’s Workers party will make huge gains in the next election. His victory was so stunning the writing is on the wall for the incumbent government.

Galloway’s victory is the spark of renewed democracy with more to come. Because he is a politician of integrity people can see what he stands for giving them a real alternative.

Western elections are too much about sloganeering and weasels slipping into office with no intention of keeping promises made. It is a gravy train for those over paid, under qualfiied and under employed, content to sell their souls to the vested interests they serve. The betrayal is unconscionable.

“The Galloway Factor” is the promise of the future as men and women of his stature come forward to rescue democracy.

America has come to a very big bump in the road when the lead candidates are toxic clowns who should be in jail.
