I am betting Antony Blinken wished he could go back to the times when Secretaries of State like Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright could get away with mass murder and nobody gave it a second thought. Those were the times the Empire’s formative years, under the cover of post WW ll triumphalism and the American Dream was still somewhat intact. Even then there were dark clouds rumbling on the horizon for those paying attention.

History will record that Blinken and his blinkered colleagues assumed their offices at the worst possible time. The Empire is in decline and everything is in a rearguard mode, putting out fires and pretending none of this is happening, and the year is 1995.

The Biden, Blinken, Sullivan kakistocracy inherited the crimes of the empire dating all the way back to the days of Allen Dulles( first head of the CIA) and his brother John Foster who served as Eisenhower’s Secretary of State in the 1950’s. The Dulles brothers are the god fathers of what is US foreign policy today. When Eisenhower delivered his Farewell Address in 1960 he was tacitly referring to the treachery of the Dulles brothers who had worked under him, and of course it is well known that Allen Dulles was instrumental in the ploting and cover up of JFK’s assassination.

Biden, Blinken, Sullivan inherited an empire in decline whose crimes were manifest, a bomb on a short fuse, and a fool’s paradise run by morons.

Blinken’s first big mistake was provoking a war with Russia using Ukraine as the Empire’s proxy. This blew the lid off the empire, especially so, when Genocide Joe Biden went around publicly gloating about blowing up the Nordstream pipeline, demanding regime change in Russia, wanting to destroy Russia’s economy, all the while prepping for war against China. Biden is the town crier for the empire’s death wish.

Since the USA decided to co-sponsor the Gaza genocide Blinken has been traipsing around the Middle East trying to keep everybody in line and a lid on things until Israel burns off its genocidal temper tantrum and latent victim hood. When humpty-dumpty fell off the wall, condoning Israel’s Genocide, a lot of eggs were broken and continue to be so.

That didn’t stop NATO aircraft bombing Yemen to buy Israel more time to shed more blood and kill more children. In responseTurkey and Iran have responded and Blinken has again confirmed his role as undertaker presiding over the Empire’s demise.

Where he is billed as the Secretary of State, he is more accurately the Secretary for the Empire’s Foreign Wars and Genocides (SEFWG). Where does that leave the beleaguered long suffering Republic?

Where are the Republicans who stand for the Republic willing to save it from the voracious appetites of the Empire and the kakistocrats running it?

The three stooges are back as Joe, Antony and Jake. No bloody is laughing. It is a bloody horror show.

For Washington the new silk road is full of pot holes and precipices.
