America's Nordstream Apotheosis

Sadly for America, and the world, it cannot accept empires are never forever. Power is never absolute. Desperation accelerates decline.

Field notes for the Apotheosis of Pure Evil:

Apotheosis by definition is when too much shit has been shoveled under the carpet for too long such that it eventually explodes in all directions. Much like a volcanic eruption from the bowels of mother Earth it brings down whole empires.

Historically, harbingers of doom are very visible but always ignored, and ending with an apotheosis War and evil runs free in the streets while demented powder monkeys stuff their orifices with cash.

For the empire to end was a long time coming, like an out of control freight train racing down the tracks. Long predicted it was only a matter of time. It has not arrived as a train wreck but as a blown up pipe line with the very dark shadow of Uncle Sam’s signature all over it.

It will go down in history as the act of juvenile pranksters ( Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland et al) under the doddering leadership of a senile president in a desperate attempt to manipulate world events in favor of a dying empire.

It is a sad spectacle to watch as a great nation is driven into the abyss by a cabal of crazy ideologues.

War is revelation and the world has been treated to astounding revelations in the past year, with more to come.

The blowing up of the pipeline has a vainglorious childish naivety to it. It was blown up in a spirit of spite, envy, greed and betrayal. The childish temper tantrum and death wish all in one. The childish bullies were determined to have their way regardless of consequences for all others.

It was sickening to see the evil smirks of Biden, Blinken, Nuland and Condoleezza Rice in videos acknowledging Washington’s war crime; long before Seymour Hersh posted his compelling chain of evidence.

Blowing the pipeline

When the pipelines were blown last September the world went silent. It was such an audacious act of sabotage. It was a war crime as it would cause suffering to millions of civilians. As a consequence we see the destruction of Germany’s economy and a lowering of Europe’s standard of living.

With the pipelines blown there were ludicrous claims Russia had blown the pipelines themselves which only bore out the contemptuous insolence politicians and the captive media have for the public.

There was only one question to be asked : Who benefits? The answer was obvious but most didn’t have the courage to say it. More explosive shit under the carpet!

Now it is reported blowing the pipeline has caused rage within Washington’s power elites, up to and including the possible impeachment of Biden. There is much more to come.

The Western media on the rocks

Many decades ago there were dire warnings about the growing corporate control, and concentration of ownership in the Western media. Over the past year we have seen conclusively the Western media has become the official liar for the status quo. Where the media is supposedly a trusted public institution it has become propagandist for powerful anti-democratic vested interests. It has ruined journalism in the West and driven the true believers into other careers, or working as independents.

One great positive in face of the collapse of Western media is the emergence of a world network of journalists and reporters willing to speak truth to power operating on shoe string budgets. Read more here.

Where the Western public trust has so thoroughly been betrayed and abandoned for too long the Western media is very culpable.

NATO’s Stockholm Syndrome

Several years ago I wrote a blog on how the Collective West (NATO) is suffering Stockholm Syndrome. It was obvious then and has reached critical proportions today. It is a fundamental cause of this crisis.

It is a psychological phenomena where persons or nations held hostage by another have to chose between compliance and defiance. To choose compliance is to give into the hostage taker— the empire— and become an accomplice to its crimes. Compliance for a country means to walk away from its sovereignty and democracy. It is to live the empire’s existence at the expense of its own existence and an abduction of freedoms and democracy.

Stockholm Syndrome is synonymous with Neo-colonialism as both are abdications of free will and national sovereignty. As hostages seek security through compliance they only deepen their victimization and their culpability.

To be a colony is a perilous entrapment where the empire can spring the trap at will and cannibalize its colonies. As we see today Europe has fallen, Ukraine is in ruins and these are only the opening chapters of WW lll.

History tells us time and again, empires, when it serves their vital interests, have no loyalty or compassion for friend, foe, decency or morality. Empires are a manifestation of sociopathic behaviors devoid of morality and any concern for consequences.

The Unconscious Collective West

For the last seventy five years the collective west has been led by false prophets. We are led to believe we are God’s chosen people and the epicenter of civilization on planet Earth. We are not. The Collective West speaks for only 12% of the world’s population.

We have been taught the simple-minded notion we are good guys and the rest of the world is an evil realm of barbarians; which of course is pure bull shit. There are many cultures older and more mature than ours. We are so determined to see war and conquest as the solution for living together on planet Earth it has become a societal dementia perpetrated by war mongers to justify their piggish naked imperialism and blood-lust for absolute power over all.

Our level of consciousness has been crippled by decades of jingoist propaganda to instill a crippled worldview where we have no cultural empathy for the world beyond our borders. This other world makes for great exotic tourist destinations, but when it comes to wars, profiteering, and geopolitics the claws come out with prisoners taken. This year’s friend and ally is next years arch enemy to be bombed out of existence or cannibalized for fun and prophet.

We have been well schooled in phobic hatred and racism directed at other countries as required. We are expert at projecting and externalizing our own criminality on to other cultures and forever oblivious to the profound hypocrisies we live by and habitually espouse.

The collective west needs a consciousness raising to a more objective and enlightened worldview. We are our very own barbarians inside our own gates floundering from one folly to another, one atrocity to another, lying and being lied to.

There is a new world and better world order rapidly emerging, more egalitarian and more humane. We can stay stuck in the 20th century or move forward into the 21st.

The recalcitrant West is doing a very effective job of ostracizing itself from the rest of the world community. As long as this crisis continues the chances of reconciliation are like a closing window that might suddenly slam shut for a very long time.

Anatomy of an Apotheosis

An apotheosis is a culminating event or series of events that are climactic game changers. In the past year we have seen NATO initiate an imperialist war against Russia using Ukraine as a proxy. This was a war that should have been settled through negotiations, which NATO arrogantly refused to do. Forcing Russia to resort to a military intervention to secure the safety of ethnic Russians in the four eastern provinces of Ukraine where 14000 civilians had been killed in the civil war since 2014.

Since Russia’s intervention NATO has deliberately and continuously escalated the conflict sending over100 billion in armaments and providing for the hiring of foreign mercenaries.

Economic sanctions were imposed on Russia and these back fired devastating Western Europe’s economy and standard of living. NATO has made many egregious miscalculations. Two of which are Russia’s ability to resist the effects of sanctions and actually see its economy improve. Also it underestimated Russia’s ability to maintain sustained warfare and this has left NATO scrambling to reinforce the Ukraine military which is on the verge of complete defeat having suffered very heavy losses.

With the bombing of the Nordstream pipelines comes the final climax. It is seen by many as the stupidest most juvenile terrorist act any government could take. It was an act of utter desperation by a failing empire turning itself into a global pariah further destroying its already tattered international standing.

The Verdict of Judge Robert H Jackson

Judge Robert H. Jackson of the US Supreme Court presided over the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunals in 1945. Twenty-two senior Nazis were in the prisoners docket. At trial’s end twelve were sentenced to death, the others to long term prison sentences.

Jackson’s opening address was a lengthy summary of the war and the crimes of the Third Reich. In the second paragraph he outlined a fundamental he felt the court must abide by:

“The common sense of mankind demands that law shall not stop with the punishment of petty crimes by little people. It must also reach men who possess themselves of great power and make deliberate and concerted use of it to set in motion evils which leave no home in the world untouched. It is a cause of that magnitude that the United Nations will lay before Your Honors.”

Jackson, is of course, referring to equality before the law for all. He would be very dismayed to see the world today and the international lawlessness that goes unpunished, unacknowledged, and where notorious war criminals slip, with huge bundles of cash, into quiet retirements.

Where power is concentrated in so few hands impunity is automatic. Courts of law be damned.

His remark takes the measure of how soulless and hypocritical the barbaric West has become.
