When dissident martyrs and whistleblowers issue their calls to action governments now criminalize them in desperate attempts to hide their misdeeds.

Martyrs, whistleblowers and dissidents all wear the badges of great honor and many pay with their lives serving their nation at great sacrifice. Their sacrifices are a call to action on any number of issues threatening national or public safety.

Here is a list of America’s 10 Most Famous Whistleblowers. Arron Bushnell joins their ranks.

Aaron Bushnell was not only sane but well informed and astute. He was well aware their would be the usual chorus of trolls and cretins waiting to slander the integrity of his personal sacrifice.

Even in the brief cell phone footage documenting his self-immolation his voice was calm and his actions showed determination and resolve even though he knew these were his last minutes on Earth.

It is also of significance he served in the air force as a cyber warfare technician and that he was leaving the air force at the age of 25 for a civilian career. There in lies another story to be told.

It is also revealed he lived a life with strong religious convictions which were no doubt a motivation in his sacrifice.

His martyrdom raises questions every man and woman in the US Armed Forces must ask themselves:

Are they serving their country, their precious and threatened Republic, or are they serving a barbaric out of control empire intent on nuclear war. They are willing to sacrifice for the defense of their country; but are they equally willing to die for the greedy imperialism that has destroyed the lives of so many untold millions?

Are they willing to sacrifice their lives for the moral depravity of those who send them into battle to fatten their wallets and serve their psychotic megalomania?

Are they willing to be party to generating waves of refugees driven from their homelands?

Are they willing to see the wealth of the Republic stolen to fight foreign wars ?

Aaron Bushnell answered all these questions in the most demonstrative way any man could, petitioning his country to come to its senses and to restore the integrity of what the Republic is supposed to stand for, the American Dream now forsaken.

A person’s writing tells us who they are. His message above tells us his martyrdom was a rational act of rage directed at a government that has betrayed its peoples in too many grotesque ways. His was the rage so many millions feel and can’t reconcile and consequently sink into despair.

Bushnell grew up in a society where ideals, empathy for others, and humanist values have been abandoned by successive governments supposedly representative of the people. Instead, citizens are abandoned as sedated consumers, expected to turn a blind eye to lurid corruptions and the grotesque stupidity of their governments. Governments see populations as objects of exploitation and manipulation, their integrity has turned into contempt and arrogance. Where they are supposed to be representative they practice renunciation.

The abandonment of peoples as casualties of war, refugees, and victims of ruinous ideologies is the game of imbeciles pretending to be God, stumbling about in the halls of power gone mad.

How could Bushnell reconcile his own country being driven into poverty and ruin while simultaneously his government was waging wars on foreign shores globalizing its violence, corruptions and utter stupidity?
