These are perilous times in too many ways. We live in highly conformist monolithic societies, where fear and propaganda are thoroughly ground into our being. We worship at the altar of technology where we can turn the world on and off at the flick of the switch. We suffer through endless mass distractions, denialism reassuring lies and pretensions destroying us from within.

There are those so purely evil they spend whole careers designing and conniving ways to shape the public will into passive indifference. Such that they can pursue their evil ways unimpeded and so flagrantly there is no reaction, just the silence of the damned living in the towering glassed habitats of decay. Boxed, bunkered, and hunkered down, we turn the blind eyes, the covered ears, the mouth locked shut.

How will the fall of Western Civilization be judged, too many wars, too much corruption, loss of virtue, loss of will, or the mundane slippery slopes of plain old passive indifference? Our parasitic politicos have abdicated their leadership and become the criminal class. Once citizens we are now reduced to disenfranchised consumers.

Are we capable of the waking moment, the indignant rage? Are we content to be the victims of arrogant lawlessness?

The fading empire runs rabid and vacuous on its hubris, its unwillingness to accept the world as it is. It laughably claims to rule by divine right, exceptionalism, and the Orwellian “rules based order”— the fanciful fabrications of over-wrought psychopaths.

Governments of the West are no longer responsible or representative. They are bought and paid for by the agents of the “upper immorality” where greed and lawlessness become the norm, where gilded opulence becomes the grotesque and bloodied norm.

The lament becomes perpetual, the grief chronic, and the gilded-ceilings come crashing down? Here and now the wreckage is everywhere.
